Matt and I just watched the total eclipse of the Moon outside! Now we're going to stroll about and look at the black hole where the moon should be =)|
Aww, you are so lucky! We have T-storms here right now, so the eclipse was invisible. :( I love the moon, and I love watching lunar eclipses, so romantic! Uh-oh...it's starting to thunder so I'd better turn off the computer...storms around here can get pretty severe.
It was really neat to watch - we came out at the right time - we saw it completely disappear, and during our walk we saw it reappear - it was a very magical experience =)
I do like thunderstorms too though =) There's something very romantic about them as well!
Gosh, I wish I could have seen it!
Thunderstorms are very romantic! Of course, most of Oklahoma's t-storms have the threat of tornadoes...tonight, there was just a bunch of wind - up to 70 mph gusts and a bunch of lightening in Lawton - and we got hardly any rain or thunders at all. So...conditions aren't normally very romantic in this part of the world. The most romantic I'v ever witnessed were the seldomly-occurring storms that happened in Arizona.
I love those desert thunderstorms! Once we were at the Grand Canyon in one of the shops on the South Rim village, and the visitor's center was struck by lightning. They wouldn't let us leave the building for a long time - it was kind of scary!
Another time when were were in the Canyonlands National Park (in Utah) there were flash floods from the storms - it was gorgeous seeing all of the red rocks covered with water!
I saw it! Despite the massive fog in these mountains! SO pretty! Isn't nature amazing?
I agree! Nature kicks ass! =}
We were supposed to have had 100% viewing, but naturally, Michigan weather said otherwise. Stupid rain clouds.
how cool, we diddnt get to see it over here :( we did have a funnel cloud touch down yestrday, not something we see very often in these parts! it was over the water though so it diddnt dammage anything thank goodness.
I got to watch it too a alone. My hubby was at work and didn't get to see it.
