Updates from Jasmine!

We've been having a great time at the Kansas City Renaissance Festival, I'll be back again this weekend too.  I've also been busy painting!

Firstly though - the big news - I will be coming to New York City for the first time!  I'll be taking part in a show at the Jonathan LeVine Gallery and will be attending the opening on January 7 from 6-8pm (mark your calendars - details here).  Super excited, I will have four new original paintings debuting at the show.

Next up - I can show her now that she's made her debut - she has however SOLD - my beautiful "Alice with the Dormouse" original painting!  I painted her for the Life Is Beautiful Festival in Las Vegas, she sold, but we do now have prints, & open editions & masterpiece canvases for sale here.  The #1 Lt. Ed. Canvas is up for auction here

Next up is the official print release for my "Allegory of Loss"  The original was SOLD at my "Allusions and Allegories" show at the Corey Helford Gallery, but we now have prints available here.  The #1 Lt. Ed. Canvas is up for auction here.

For those of you who are fans of my "Venus with Cherubs" painting - we are sold out of the Limited Edition Canvases and the final #25/25 hand embellished canvas in the edition is up for auction here.  Last chance to snag one!

And finally in other news, I've added a lot of new events to my upcoming show schedule!  The Kansas City Renaissance Festival is up & running in full swing!  I had a great time seeing you all last weekend, and I'm returning to the Renfest again this coming weekend (October 8-9) details here.  Florida people - I will be doing two new events at the Marketplace Co-Op at Disney Springs - November 12 and December 3rd.  I'll also be doing a Dragon themed show called "December Dragons" also at Disney Springs at the Pop Gallery on December 17. UK folks - I'll be at the Whitby Goth Weekend November 4-6, and have just been announced as a guest at 3 Wishes Faery Festival in Cornwall next June 16-18. Details are up at my event page here.  And again - those of you in the New York area - be sure to mark your calendars for January 7th at the Jonathan LeVine Gallery in Chelsea - details here

"Alice with the Dormouse"
11x14" Original Acrylic Painting $4000 SOLD
Prints & canvases from $9.99 are here

This is a painting I did for the “Life is Beautiful” Festival in Las Vegas, as part of their “Crime on Canvas” show. And beautiful it is! Lots of lovely flowers inspired by Dutch still life painting, a darling little dormouse hiding in a cup of tea, and of course Alice herself popping up in the middle. Also intended as an illustration destined for my Alice in Wonderland oracle deck and upcoming Alice coloring book. I love the colours in this one!  The original painting has been sold.

We have 8x10" and 12x16" glossy paper prints signed on the back by me for $9.99 and $19.99 this week, as well as GORGEOUS 12x16" open edition remarqued canvases, ready to hang, signed COA, only $100 on sale this week.  We also have huge 16x20" hand embellished Masterpiece Limited Edition canvases that are signed, dated & numbered out of only 5 made, those are $595 each. All are right here, just use the dropdown box under Fine Art Print Options to choose what type/size of print you'd like!

We also have the #1 Masterpiece Limited Edition canvas up for auction on eBay to give everybody a chance.  Bidding starts at a penny and you can bid on her here

"Allegory of Loss"
12x16" Original Acrylic Painting $5000 SOLD
Prints & canvases from $9.99 are here

This piece debuted & sold as part of my “Allusions and Allegories” show at the Corey Helford Gallery in LA.  A piece in which I’ve used the painstaking process of hand painting tiny squares to simulate a pixelated “mosaic” – in this instance turning a vaguely 18th Century Gainsborough-ish portrait into an allegory of loss. Whether it be a loss of a loved one, a symbol of losing touch, or a reminder to keep things close to you an in focus – the viewer can decide that. The peeling wallpaper behind the “lost” girl adds a bit of melancholy as well. And no – no computers or digital effects here, it’s a regular painting of mine, it’s just painted to look that way 😉

We have 8x10" and 12x16" glossy paper prints signed on the back by me for $9.99 and $19.99 this week, as well as 11x14" hand embellished Masterpiece Limited Edition canvases that are signed, dated & numbered out of only 25 made, those are $125 each.
