i've been looking at assorted floorplans (for fun) of houses, etc. online and was thinking...

why is it that kitchens and bathrooms are the least likely rooms to have windows? aren't they the two rooms that you'd probably appreciate the extra ventilation from time to time?

someday when i have my own home i will have a window over my sink and a window in my shower stall.

Hmm..

Well if it makes you feel any better I have seen a lot of homes (been in) that have windows over the kitchen sink and windows in the bathrooms (usually a small one, or a blurred glass one.)

The house I'm in right now actually has a window in one of the bathrooms, and a big window in the kitchen. So there is still hope =)
