First round of photos... [Apr. 16th, 2003|10:38 pm]
Jasmine Becket-Griffith
Hehe - I'm going to upload and post about our vacation photos tomorrow. Tonight you get to see our moving photos!

Photos from Our Move

Azrael and Quan-Yin rode all the way in the car, mostly sleeping in their cat-carrier

We stopped at a rest area and ate some yummy vegetarian-turkey sandwiches that Matt's mom sent us along with.

Here is my new Post Office! Right across the street... - I've walked there a couple of times already - they'll know my name soon.

Here is a shot of Market Street - the main street here in downtown Celebration.

A view of the Lake from Market Street

The view from my front door

Vacation post and Vacation photos coming soon!

It reminds me of seeing a whole new country. The Post Office looks really neat. I am not a big architecture person, but that is really cool.

What is a vegetarian Turkey sandwich? I haven't heard of those.
Can't want to see more of your town I haven't been off the coasts.

Hehe - any sort of meat out there pretty much has a vegetarian equivalent (I'm a vegetarian you see). I've even had vegetarian scallops and vegetarian fish sticks (which I didn't care for, but then again when I was a little girl I never liked real fish sticks, lol).

Most vegetarian meats are made from mixtures of wheat gluten and soy products, or textured vegetable protein. Most are pretty good - not all of them necessarily taste like the meat they are supposed to represent though. Some however taste exactly like their meat counterparts! As far as I can tell at least, it's been about 10 years since I've had any real meats, hehe.

Hehe - silly kitties seemed to think that their litter box was their bed. They didn't need to use it until the very end thankfully, and after that they had the good sense not to sleep in it any more, lol!

Jasmine! It looks wonderful! I would love to live there. What a cool post office. Is that the same lake that is by Downtown disney? If so where are you guys at in relation to the Lego Dragon? If not what are you close to that I'd know?

Nope - not the same lake, hehe. We're on Celebration Lake (a smallish lake) around which Celebration is built. On the other side of the lake from us there is a bunch of walking trails and a protected wetland =)

We are right across 192 from Downtown Disney (where Matt works - it's very convenient!). Disney actually owns the land here (except for the parcels where people in Celebration buy their homes), so we're technically "on property" =)

We can even see the lights from Downtown Disney from our apartment!
