|Just a brief comment.

I just wanted to take this time to let everyone know how much I enjoy "Touch of Grey" by the Grateful Dead. Damn fine song - I never get tired of it. It always makes me feel better about any situation I am in.|
I just saw that!
What makes it uncomfortable is that she has emailed me a few days ago, telling me that she is a fellow artist and liked my work so much, and wanted to know about what sort of materials I use, etc. It puts me in a weird position.

I find that a bit strange.. It's one thing to comment or be interested in someone's art, it's another things to ask the specifics of how you create.. I'd keep an eye out on that person just to make sure her future auctions resume to be her own style...
Sorry you have so much to do... I've moved over five times since I graduated from high school in 98... It really sucks!!! And of course I'm always one of those "last minute" packers who just figures they can replace stuff when they move... Except in result I usually end up leaving a lot of stuff I would have really liked to keep behind..=(

I adore that song. The lyrics are above and beyond their time. I remember the last Dead show I saw before Jerry passed on. That was the last song they played, I believe... That show is a bit hazy in my memory...lol...=)
To comment on the copy cat, I'll have to agree, especially since this artist "Herculiz" usually paints things that look, well, not be be completely insulting, but she's one of those "outsider" artists whose art looks like a younger person did it.. (I'm trying not to be too insulting incase she may read this). That face she used in this particular picture looks a LOT like your style. Don't worry though, she doesn't even hold a candle to you. Still, I'd be pissed.....
Have a Happy Day!!!!(Or night)
Aw, I never got to see them live =(
I did look at her other auctions and her other work looks very different. Hmmmm...
I noticed that one last night, too. Sometimes, I wish I could reach through the internet and grab these people and say "get your OWN damn style!". So annoying!
i know! that song has showed up at pivotal moments of my life- playing on the radio, or at whatever store or airport or wherever i was... it's a hope beacon- i never get tired of it either.
on the other note, too irrititating about the pseudo-jasmine artist. some people think there's no difference between admirer and copycat, seems.
