Several pieces of news for you today! Firstly - I'm coming to do my first show in the Midwest next May! May 18th-20th in Kansas City, Missouri I will be at the Spectrum Fantastic Art LIVE show - should be one of the best art shows ever - myself and 200 other artists you know from the Spectrum annual series of books (the best in fantasy, science fiction, illustration, horror, film concept art, etc.). For more information visit my official Facebook Event Page for Spectrum Fantastic Art Live HERE or scroll down to the bottom of this mailing list update.

Next up- TWO new Original Paintings to show you! The first is a gothic altarpiece style painting called "Occulta Cordis" (Secret Heart) - the original itself was sold at the Sarasota Medieval Fair, but I have prints and posters available for her now. The second is a new Christmas painting featuring my Ruby Dragonling character - absolutely adorable.

And thirdly - we have launched a number of new product lines through It's Fun To Be a Girl (my sister-in-law Sarah at Etsy!) - charm bracelets, zipper pulls, badge/nametage retractable holders (great for your Dragon*Con badges too!), bookmarks and more - all featuring my paintings, of course! You can see all the new stuff at It's Fun To Be a Girl right HERE!

Two New Original Paintings: "Occulta Cordis" and "Faces of Faery 182 - A Christmastime Ruby Dragonling"

The new original painting I have for sale to the public is "Faces of Faery 182". This is the ORIGINAL ACRYLIC PAINTING - You might recognize this cutie from my line of Bradford Exchange Christmas Ornaments called "We Wish You A Fairy Christmas" - featuring Ruby Dragonling - of course! A holiday fairy with a Santa-hatted baby dragon. So cute!. Part of my Faces of Faery series - my own original acrylic painting, painted on a wood/masonite panel, it is 6" by 6" square - an original acrylic painting on 2" deep cradled masonite panel - no framing needed - ready to hang! Bidding starts at just one penny, for a 10 day auction ending the evening of Thursday, December 10th at 5:59 PM Central Time - see her here:

"Faces of Faery 182" ORIGINAL PAINTING is HERE

Guess what? She is available as a sculpture Christmas ornament too, from the Bradford Exchange! She comes in a set of three - all Ruby and two of her sisters, each with little dragonlings in holiday decor. Only $29.97 for the set of all three - less than $10 each - and you can get guaranteed Christmas Delivery! Click below to see:

The other new painting - this is one I debuted at the Sarasota Medieval Fair but was sold at the show is my new "Occulta Cordis". Here is how she looked with her frame - the original painting - Occulta Cordis - Latin for "Secret Heart" - inspired by medieval and renaissance icon images of saints, this beauty holds an ornate Sacred Heart, with a keyhole lock..... My own original acrylic painting, painted on a wood/masonite panel with frame made by my husband Matt.. Again - this one is SOLD but I do already have prints & posters of her available below - she makes for a BEAUTIFUL print:

Posters and Prints of "Occulta Cordis" are HERE

New Accessories at It's Fun To Be A Girl!

My sister-in-law Sarah has made a ton of new stuff featuring my artwork - including charm bracelets, bookmarks, zipper pulls, badge/namecard holders (with those retractable thingies, great for Dragon*Con badges or job namecards), keychains and more! All on Etsy at "It's Fun To Be a Girl" - CLICK HERE. Starting at just $7.99 and really cute - all make great gifts!
