Lots of news for today! Thank you to all who came to MegaCon last weekend, we had a phenomenal show and it was great to see you! Today I have my latest I Vampiri painting - "Lucrezia Borgia" to show you, as well as a new Faces of Faery original painting for sale. Also I have the new #01 Canvas auctions up for "Angel with Emeralds" as well as for the new I Vampiri. In addition, I have the pre-order/reservation information for my long-awaited "Fairy Circus" statue series coming out from the Hamilton Collection, and finally - news about my upcoming show this weekend at the Celebration Spring Art Festival. Lots of news =)
First off - yes indeed, I have an art show this weekend and another the weekend after! It is show season around here in Florida! This weekend - April 2nd & 3rd - I will have a tent at the Celebration Spring Art Festival! It will be a very fun and FREE outdoor event here in my hometown of Celebration, Florida. The weather should be sunny and warm & perfect according to the weather folks. We will have 150 artists of all kinds! I will be debuting a lot of new original paintings, from very small (2" mini paintings) to the very large, as well as some new specially framed canvas prints, and a handful of small prints as well. Should be a lot of fun! It is right in downtown Celebration from 10:00am-5:00pm both Saturday & Sunday, and I'll be there all day every day. For more information on the art festival visit my Appearances page here:

Also a reminder - my very first gallery show - "Alchemy Unleashed" will be Saturday after next - on April 9th - at Cloudspace in Orlando, Florida (right by UCF off University Blvd). This will have a huge debut of many of my new never-seen original paintings and tons of my other artwork as well - and free champagne for growups! Another free event, of course. For info on this see the Appearances page again above.
Next up is the new "I Vampiri" painting - "Lucrezia Borgia"! The original painting itself debuted and was quickly sold at MegaCon, but I have already put the prints & posters up on Zazzle, so you can see her there (also I just listed the #01 Canvas of her on eBay)! The eighth in my series of paintings called "I Vampiri " (which is Italian for The Vampires) - a new line of paintings that feature vampire beauties inspired by Italian Baroque & Italian Renaissance themes and aesthetics (many of which I have been hired to create for my upcoming Vampire Tarot/Oracle Deck). This eighth painting is called "I Vampiri: Lucrezia Borgia" - the fascinating Lucrezia herself. I've taken her somewhat sinisterly-portrayed character a bit further by incorporating vampiric elements. I love her goblet (what's in there - blood? Poison? The cantarella?) You may of course recognize the 15th-16th Century portrait by Altobello Melone of Lucrezia's brother, Cesare (a rather interesting chara cter himself...). I painted this piece for MegaCon 2011 where the original painting was sold, but I have prints available! The original painting was a 16"x20" acrylic on panel, and yes - this original painting SOLD at MegaCon last weekend, but luckily I managed to scan her in before the show so I have prints & posters! All sizes from 11x14 ($13.90) all the way up to 52"x64" and you can even add on custom framing, matting, etc. or just have her as a poster! You can see her below:

Next up is the new original painting for sale- Faces of Faery #153 - Part of my Vampires subset of Faces of Faery - this fanged beauty is cradling a skull in this melancholy scene. She is on GALLERY STYLE CRADLED MASONITE - 6"x6" in size (like all Faces of Faery) - Matt has added a hanger on the back, so it is READY TO HANG! No frame needed! She's up on eBay starting at ONE PENNY for a 10-day auction ending the evening of Thursday, April 7th at 6:00 PM Central Time

We are also, again, happy to STRETCH/WRAP these canvases on boards & add hangers on the back upon request (or leave them rolled/flat, whatever you like!)!
