A brief break before working

Ah, now I am taking a break from working. A very short one. I'm relaxing with a diet Vanilla Coke and I'm checking my email. Hmmm.... most of my email looks to be work-related (and there is 187 letters in my inbox, lol). This isn't much of a break. =P I'm going to tackle that later.

I bought some new art supplies yesterday - there was a great sale on brushes - all golden taklon (a synthetic fiber). Loving animals the way I do, I only buy man-made brushes. I've found that they work a lot better for acrylics anyways! I've got several small paintings finished that I am going to put up on eBay tonight. I'm going to painting (both acrylic and digitally) for most of the day. I still haven't found the velcro so I can't move around my webcam (so you might get to see the top of my head if you are lucky, hehe). You'll get to see me if I'm digitally painting with my graphics tablet though - I'll be at my computer with the graphics pen in my mouth =)

I need new clothes. I wear my clothes into the ground and they are slowly getting indecent, lol. I've been looking at a bunch of nice things on eBay (stuff for a warm climate) but I'm afraid to take money out of my savings before I move (in case of "emergencies"). It's kinda hard to find stuff I like - I mostly go for the gothic/victorian look, and all of that seems to be replete with non-Florida-friendly materials (vinyl, velvet) and non-Florida-friendly designs (high collars, long skirts). Hmmm. I like the sort of gothic/bohemian look, and that looks more warm-weather friendly. I also love asian fashions (classic asian and contemporary Japanese - "elegant gothic lolita" and KERA type stuff). That seems to work better in warmer climates as well. I just don't like getting stuck in a "tanktop and shorts" rut. Anyways - I'd better get back to painting...
