Willow Original Painting Auction, NEW ACEOS......

Hi everyone!

I have one of my original FRAMED "Book Illustration" paintings up for a penny auction tonight, and also a bunch of new ACEO Cards!! Some of the ACEO cards are made from my latest, most recent paintings, and a few others are from some of my classic favourites from the past - a fantastic assortment.

As you may know, I'm illustrating a book of short stories. It's a daunting task requiring dozens of illustrations, but luckily I'm able to offer this piece and the subsequent paintings for sale along the way, so be on the lookout for more soon. The book will not be out for quite some time, but I will let you know when it is published, too. Some of you may have seen her before - her name is "Willow" and she was up in my eBay store, but as I'm streamlining my studio and preparing new original paintings for some conventions & art shows this fall, I thought I'd put her up for an eBay penny auction, so everybody can get a chance at her!

"Willow" is her name - a mysterious beauty - surrounded by stunning swamp iris blooms and steaming Spanish Moss - it gives an exotic feel to the room just hanging up on my wall. As I mentioned, this is a very special painting, as she's going to be featured in an upcoming book of short stories. This is a portrait of a character named Willow, a faery creature who is akin to the will-o'-the-wisp (mysterious swamp lights, that some attribute to faeries!). A beautiful girl, her eyes glow like the mysterious orbs, and she clutches one in her arms as well. I've used a special sort of "Interference" paints on them which really make them almost seem to "glow"! Since she will be published, she is certainly of special interest to collectors. And guess what - it is FRAMED! Yes, you get the FRAME too - and it is gorgeous! Framed by my wonderful husband, Matt. I very rarely auction off work that is already framed, or ready-to-hang, so this is quite special. Again - this is the original painting, on a masonite panel and it has been framed in beautiful bamboo themed dark brown wood frame - particularly appropriate for the subject of this piece - kind of a tropical tiki feel to it. I have finished the painting with a glossy varnish and it looks amazing! This piece is 100% ready to hang on your wall. The panel is 16"x20" and framed she measures a large 23"x19". This original painting is up on eBay starting at just ONE PENNY with no reserve for a 7-Day auction ending the evening of Wednesday, June 18th at 6:30PM Central Time. You can see her below:

Now for the new ACEOs - for more info about ACEO cards, how I make them & what they are (basically tiny hand embellished one of a kind canvas prints, trading card sized and highly collectable), consult the individual auction descriptions - they are each one of a kind, hand-painted with accents by me, the artist, and are awesome! All are starting at a penny, with no reserve for seven-day auctions ending on the afternoon of Wednesday, June 18th 6:00PM - 6:27PM Central Time:
