Wow Jasmine she is amazing! So lovely.. and you are correct in that she is hauntingly beautiful!
Yay new books! =^_^= *glee!*
Your paintings are really lovely and improving a lot lately. I love her expression, its beautiful.
This painting is just gorgeous! The lighting is amazing, and the background must have taken forever. And the figure is painted beautifully, of course! I love that you even took the fact that the candle light behind the fingers would make the fingers glow with a reddish color. Its little details that draw me into your paintings. Stone wings sound fascinating. I can't wait to see the finished story!
That is probably one of the most expressive and adorable face I've seen you painting for sure, I'm in love with her, I want to be her friend!!! There's so much spirits around the whole painting, and for some reasons I can feel some of the ambiance/feelings we had in France in it, remember one of the first place we visited the day of the pic-nic, there was an old church with a pretty neat small cemetery where there was a rose inside a glass globe sitting on a tomb ( sorry my english sucks too much to find the correct words XD ) I took some reference pics of you in front of the main door, anyway, this painting reminds me of the atmosphere there !!!!! It's gorgeous! You rock, and I miss you dearly!
First of all congrats on Dragon con. Hope you had a major blast and sold aton of stuff.
As for your new painting, She is one of your best. You know it's getting really hard to pick a favorite here.
Congrats on the book,
By the way how is your cousin Eric? Hope he is doing fine.
Holy cow Jasmine this is stunning! Those light rays are fantastic!!!
I really like the wispy tendrils of hair at her neck. It's a very haunting effect - they look alive!
Oh a new fave for me! so sweet and sad (two of my favorites) and I love how you are able to adapt your style to the story, this image is different than your others (to my eyes at least)
I'm really curious about her story, if I saw her on a cover I would not be able to resist.. stone wings? indeed!
She is stunning. I think she is hauntingly beautiful! =)
I can't wait for the book!!
I didn't know Amber and Kachina were going to be the authors of the book. That is such a great fantastic neato thing. I like the first painting so too! I am so happy for you all.
OOH! Illustrating a story! That sounds like fun! I can't wait to see the book!
Hm, better add this to my reading list then! =D What a great idea!
That is stunning jasmine! just love her soft expression, the eyes and lips are painted beautifully, well the whole thing is really! How exciting though, I cant wait to see more of these paintings for the book :)
Just love it! I love her face very much :)
The story sounds mysterious. When the book is published I am going to see if I can get a copy someday, haha.

Just an idea...
Hi! Just would like to say I LOVE your work! There is so much detail in your paintings, it bewilders me! I'm also fascinated with fantasy and fairies...I've been all my life (even though i'm only a young teenager..)!
Anyways, getting to the point: maybe whenever you have time you could paint a fairy with music notes, or playing an instrument or something? It's just an idea, and i'm not obliging you to do it if you don't want to.
Thank-you and goodbye!
Jasmine this is a gorgeous painting! :) I love everything about it. The girl is so beautiful and kind of sad and the stained glass window with the light coming it is amazing! :)
P.s you PT figurines are sooooooooo cute!!!!! Congrats!! :) I need them all!
Hi there. It's Shannon aka auburnsiren. I started this new journal a while back, if you are interested. I have you on MySpace, but can't really talk to you there! Hope all is well. xo
