New Wine Fairy FRAMED Original & Lots of NEW Canvas Prints...... [Jun. 6th, 2007|07:51 pm]
Jasmine Becket-Griffith
Wow, we've been busy!

Looks like my big "Sale" was a smashing success, we've been packing up prints non-stop for the past several days, into the wee hours of the night.... Thank you so much, everybody!

Thank you all also for the birthday wishes! I think that 28 will be a great year for me, I have very good feelings about that number. I'm going on a short weekend trip, for my birthday (I'm 28 now, woohoo!) - back on Sunday morning. It should not affect shipping or orders - all orders already placed are going out tomorrow morning, and all orders after that will ship on Monday as usual. But there could be a day or two delay on emails, no big deal =)

Still sorting out my France photos - you can expect a long photo post from me soon....

I have a wonderful new painting (and it is FRAMED) for you, inspired by my trip to France, and also several 1st edition Canvas Prints of some of my newest paintings (including one you've never seen before!).

"Pinot Noir" is another beautiful painting inspired by my recent art trip to France. It is in the same vein of my "White Zinfandel" piece (a wine series in the works). While there we visited the Domaine Besson vineyard near Givry, Burgundy. They grow amazing Pinot Noir grapes there, and I thought I'd paint this piece in honour of their tasty wines. The spirit of the vine is shown as the Green Man (leafy guy) in this painting, and a beautiful, golden haired, slightly tipsy fairy. And guess what - it is FRAMED! (Special thank you to Matty) - if you look at the auction you'll see a photo of myself holding the painting, to give you a good idea of how that looks. She is 100% ready-to-hang - just stick her up on a nail on the wall, and you are good to go! She is up in my eBay store at a fixed price where she will remain until purchased (otherwise I'll take her with me to the Fall conventions of Faerie-Con and Dragon*Con, so grab her if you like her now!) - you can see her below....

Click HERE to see "Pinot Noir" FRAMED ORIGINAL PAINTING!

Next up are the new #01 Limited Edition Hand Embellished Canvas Prints for some of my NEWEST paintings - these turned out beautifully - just click the links below:

"A Walk Through the Highlands" 8"x10" #01 Lt. Ed. CANVAS PRINT

("A Walk Through the Highlands" is NEVER-BEFORE-SEEN because it was a custom commissioned painting for a private customer, so the original is already sold, but this is truly the next best thing.....)

& "Snow White and a Fawn" #01 Lt. Ed. CANVAS PRINT 11"x14"

& "Doomed From the Start" #01 Lt. Ed. CANVAS PRINT 11"x14"

& "Purple Paper Hearts" #01 Lt. Ed. CANVAS PRINT 11"x14"

You can expect the open edition glossy prints of these same pictures to be available (probably on sale, too) sometime next week - thank you for your patience on that. =)

I have so many new paintings in my head, too - from my France trip mostly - and some others - in the next few weeks you should see some particularly great pictures from me, hopefully!

It is POURING RAIN outside. We really need the rain though, so that's a good thing. I hope it stops raining tomorrow though, we're going to be going on my little trip, so I don't want it to be too soggy. Maybe it will stop by morning....

Gotta go catch up on some emails & orders and then a little more work, and then dinner! I'm starving! Enjoy the new pictures =)

Beautiful as always! I haven't commented in a long time but I read your entries as usual. I loved your White Zifandel one, both for the art and the concept behind it that inspired you to paint it, so its very cool to see another in this series :-D The hair in this one is really well done.

I saw your fairys on the net and i thought they were beautiful. Do you think you could draw me up a set of wings with a heart in the middle to go on my back shoulder blade to shoulderblade. I liked the "Hovering at Twilight" fairy. Her wings are awsome. Do you think you can draw them for me? Just message me back...IF you dont want to it's ok. Just please respond so i know to keep looking for ideas.
