oo i saw tideland the other night, i loveddddd it! omg those talking doll heads, lol. and the poor girl! Reminded me a bit of Pan's Labyrinth :D
Gorgeous painting btw ^_~ Hope you are feeling better love XOXOXOXOXO!
It was an awesome movie! Yeah - the same kind of "little girl in a really really bad situation gets wrapped up in a fantasy world" type of vibe.
Thank you Kayti =)
Feel better! Love the new painting!
omg its beautiful!
I wish I could do hair like you...
When I do mine it turns muddy and gross... X_x how do you do it ?
=) Thank you Heather!
Hehe - well - lots of time, practice, and tiny little paintbrushes!
I saw "Tideland" last summer. I really loved it. It was pretty good about making me uncomfortable at times. I just wanted a few scenes to end, but all in all, it was really good! Any movie that has a a lot of bizarre life and death always wins me over! I haven't read the book! I'd be curious to see how it differs!
It really was a great film. Yeah - now I wanna read the book!
I always love your dragons so much! *^__^*
Very pretty! I love pink and black! Those are my wedding colors and I love dragons. I really like this one.
Thank you so much!
Those are AWESOME wedding colours, by the way! Much better than the usual "ivory and powder blue" or "rose and beige", etc. combos!
I also just watched Tideland. It was creepy and destrubing but really great.
So much pink!!! She's really cool!!
Thank you Dawn! I usually don't go for pink, but this one really spoke to me =)
Thank you Pixie!
I love Terry Gilliam's films. This one was even further on the "creepy/disturbing" meter than usual, but it was definitely well done.
Oh, I have been wanting to see Tideland so much! Of course we didn't get it at my movie store, so I went to the other one in town (they seem to get a lot of stuff that we don't) and they had never heard of it :( I'm probably going to have to buy it to see it.
It was a great movie! Definitely not-for-kids, but still it was about a little girl and had some childlike qualities to it.
Our local "Movie Gallery" just got it the last week. I don't even remember it playing in theatres, it must have been a very limited release.
She is beyond gorgeous, Jasmine!
I love her!! =)
I bought that sticker at Hot Topic the other day.
Awesome, thank you Jessica!

Just a question, Jasmine.
How big is the mounting border around your 11x14 canvas prints? Is it big enough for the print to be stretched over 11x14 stretcher bars without any of the image being cut off? Thanks!
Nope, the ones ordered from eBay & my website have a very very marginal mounting border, just enough to give a mat something to hold onto. They're intended to be framed flat with a mat or behind glass, not stretched.
However if you are wanting a stretched canvas print - I can do those made-to-order for an additional fee - they require using our other printer and a larger sheet of canvas to provide room for stretching so I only do them upon request - if you are interested just email me at JasmineToad@aol.com =)
I am just wondering if you have any zodiac Taurus based fairies...I would use one as flash for a tattoo-my birthday is April 24th
Actually yes - I have one Taurus themed painting so far - you can see her here:http://www.strangeling.com/taurus.html
you're welcome to print out the pic from my website and bring it to the tattoo parlour to inspire the tattoo artist =)

We are redoing my soon to be 8yr old daughters room. We happened to be looking on amazon for new "grown up" pictures. She said she wanted some of fairies. When we came across yours, her mind made up. Only Jasmine Beckett-Griffith will do. Nothing else!! We let her pick out 6. If she had her way we would have gotten all the ones with frogs. Thank you for appealing to a wide age range.
=) Thank you so much for your comment! It really makes me happy that my art is appreciated by all ages. Having been a little girl once myself, it feels good to think that other little girls like what I've dedicated my life to creating. Thank you so much!
