New ALICE Painting, MINI, Prints, ACEOS & More

I have been so busy! My word. I always forget how busy the holiday season is for us - wow.

I finally got away from the more work-work side of it all to get some new art done though! It's a LOT of stuff, so bear with me =)

This is the THIRTEENTH painting in my "official" Alice series (I did some earlier Alice pieces, but these are the primary ones) - I think it is my best in the series so far. Check it out below:

"Alice and the Queen of Hearts" ORIGINAL PAINTING

This was way too fun to paint. Usually I paint my girls to be cute, pretty, etc. so it was kind of a challenge to make a sneering, creepy older lady like the Queen of Hearts. Her dress is a bit mad, but fun to paint.

Also - I was able to squeeze in a "MINI" painting - a 5"x3" tiny original acrylic painting on a sheet of canvas - she is at a FIXED price of only $50 - this is the only way you can really get an original painting from me for that price, and these tend to sell instantly, so grab her if you can!! She is called "Sad Little Red Wing" and you can see her below:

I will try to get some new MINI paintings done very soon, before the holidays (I have gotten a lot of requests). So those of you who collect the minis might want to go to my ORIGINALS page CLICK HERE and re-fresh it periodically to keep a watchful eye out the next week or so ;)

Next I have a few new #01 Limited Edition Hand Embellished Canvas prints!

"Dark Procession" 15x6" Lt. Ed. CANVAS PRINT #01

"Time Flies" 11x14" Lt. Ed. CANVAS PRINT #01

I am starving! I need to go make some food. Lots of work to catch up on tomorrow =/ I'm sorry I haven't been very chatty here at LiveJournal (I'll try to catch up soon), we have just been so swamped - commissions, shipping, licensing, business stuff, legal stuff, blahblahblah. The not-so-fun side of the art business.

At least now we have pretty Christmas decorations up - that makes me feel better. I bought our plane tickets to fly up to Kansas City for Christmas to be with our family - it was almost $1,000 - sheesh! Usually when we fly up it's only $200-$300 total roundtrip for us both. I guess it's because of the holiday season.

Speaking of which - I need to find some time to get some Christmas shopping done - eek! I have a few presents bought already, but many more I need to get. Every year I swear to myself I'll get it all done early, but I never do. Being on the "supply" end of the holiday rush as well makes it all the more hectic - I get caught up in the worry of my customers' Christmas shopping and whether packages are in on time, etc. too. So far everything seems to be going pretty smoothly though thank goodness.

Bah humbug, I need to go fix dinner! Enjoy the new art!
