Matt & I have been SICK. Everytime we go up north we get sick, never fail. First Matt had stomach flu, and then I had a bad cold/flu, and now he is sick with a bad cold. Ugh. I'm feeling better now though, and Matt is very hardy so I'm sure he will be better soon.

Let me see - what have I been up to.... We had a great time up in Kansas City (despite being sick!). We stayed at my sister Amber & her husband Chris' new house, which was very nice - they had a guest room set up for us and everything. We also got to go up with my Dad & Robin and visit my Grandma in St. Joseph, Missouri, and we got out to Grandview, Missouri to visit Matt's family. We took our niece Cielo for her birthday to the T-Rex Cafe - which was awesome! A new restaurant from the folks who own Rainforest Cafe, but dinosaur themed (I love dinosaurs). They're building one here at Disney too. We had Thanksgiving at my mom's house, which was fun. We got to spend lots of time with Kachina, James, Eleanor & Theodore which is always a blast. Now we miss everybody, but we'll be up there again around Christmas, so that's cool.
Matt had his 33rd birthday!!! For his birthday the two of us went and played Congo River Golf (a really neat mini-golf place here in Florida), had lunch at Bahama Breeze, and then went and saw TWO movies - both of which were very good! We saw "The Fountain" which was great, beautifully done - interesting story - but very sad. Then we also saw "Tenacious D & The Pick of Destiny" - which ROCKED. I loved it, I might see it again in the theatre and will definitely get it on DVD. I'm a huge Tenacious D fan, and I'm very very pleased with how the movie turned out - very funny, great music - neat stuff. Tenacious D, strangely enough, was a catalyst for my art career - years ago on the HBO series Jack Black has a segment where he tells the audience "Quit your day job, and focus on your craft" - and that's when I did it. Really!
What else is new... not a lot, mostly being sick, working, catching up with orders & email, that type of thing. I should be getting a lot of new paintings done in the next month before Christmas, so get ready!
Now though I need to go rest, so have a great evening everybody!
