Painting like a Madwoman [Feb. 7th, 2003|12:58 pm]
Jasmine Becket-Griffith
OK - big painting days coming up. Unfortunately, most of it will be on the other side of the room on some larger commissions so I won't be able to show it on the webcam =(

I might be putting up some auctions tonight - I have a few small new paintings and some prints and stuff lying around my studio. I'll post them here =)

Re: Question

You have to upload a picture to your own FTP/Webhosting company (if you have a website, or AOL, or a lot of other Internet Service Providers you probably have some sort of web space at your disposal). You then enter the HTML image tag code indicating the URL of the picture.

Don't worry - it's not as difficult as it sounds!!! LJ addresses it in their FAQ - just click here: http://www.livejournal.com/support/faqbrowse.bml?faqid=6

I don't have a live journal yet. I was just wondering how to add a picture when I posted a comment on someone's journal. There doesn't seem to be a place to add a source code except in the Message box I'm typing in. Is that where I put it or do I have to have a journal in order to have a photo? I would like to get a journal, so if anyone wants to give me a source code or whatever it is they ask, please do!

You can insert html in the message box. But - for the "Icon" pics (the 100x100 pics everyone on LJ has) you have to be a member. I didn't bother getting a code to join, I just became a paid member - it's cheap and you get good benefits =)
