I adore this one Jasmine-you do morning mist so skillfully, and I think you're trees are beautifully stylised.
One of your best works to date I think.
Thank you David, I'm really happy with this one!
Oh my. It looks so natural and lovely -- I can feel the autumn mist...!
Thank you very much, Patience!
Like Chad & Jeremy from the 60s?
Yes indeed, hehe! It's a line from their Summer Song =)
What a beautiful portrait!!! I love the monochromatic feel. And she's just beautiful!! I love the texture of the trees too!!!
Thank you Dawn! I had a lot of fun with this one!
Very beautiful, definitely a lot of depth to the piece, and you had a lovely model!
Oo, that one is great. I love the bare forest, your trees are so cool.
Aww, that's a lovely title. I love Chad and Jeremy.
Thank you Sally!!
Hehe, I love them too - that line always sticks in my head....
This is AWESOME indeed! *thumbs up*
I love the background... those trees are just... WOW!!!
"They say that all good things must end some day... autumn leaves must fall... but don't you know that it hurts me so... to say goodbye to you... wish you didn't have to go... no no no no..." ^_^
Thank you Jenni!
Yay!! I'm glad some of you all know that song, hehe!
She is darling!! I love all your work, but I love your realistic art the best. Im really wanting to go walk in this forrest right now. Which reminds me, I must rent Sleepy Hollow again!! See your paintings are good for so many reasons.
Thank you so much! I like the challenge of doing more realistic pieces from time to time =)
WOW! That is really good, Jasmine!
Go rest your hand, drink, and EAT SOMETHING now! ;) Silly woman, hehe.
Very awesome Jasmine! The depth is fantastic!! So nice of your friend to model for you! I'm so jealous that you got to have broccoli soup! I went to Tim Horton's (a canadian coffee place but they also have soups and sandwiches) mainly to get a bowl of cream of broccoli soup tonight and the jerks didn't have any! We have two in town and I went to both because I wanted some so bad! lol Needless to say, I came home with just a lousy sandwich that wasn't even fixed the way I had ordered it lol. Anyways...enough complaining from me. Hope your soup was good :). Great painting!! *hugs*
Beautiful and inspired! I adore it!!!
That is gorgeous. She reminds me of one of my very fae LJ friends, faerystar
hehe it is me!
and Jasmine, it is gorgeous! I love the autumny misty background and the twisty trees aswell. Thanks so much! :)
owwww wow, This is my favourite all times I think, haha. The girl has such a classic looking face, so pretty. Like the faces you see in those older paintings, you know what I mean. It fits so well with the background. You did an amazing job on that...wow!!!
And tin boxes? You make me very interested, lol
Thank you Miriam!
I know exactly what you mean - she really does have a "classic" beauty about her!
Love this one Jasmine!! I like seeing these forest cathedrals pop up in artist's work because I am fascinated with them at the moment.
The little tins sound cute. I can't wait to hear more about it.
They are really cute! They have 5 or 6 designs - I only have the samples of them so far, but I will probably order some to keep in stock.
