|New Custom Fairy, Minis & Re-Listed auctions.....
||[Sep. 1st, 2005|08:24 pm]
I have all sorts of fun stuff - including some items that have (unfortunately) had to be relisted due to a non-paying bidder who completely disappeared on me =( But hey - their loss is your gain!|
First off I have one of my "Custom" auctions!! Basically it is an unfinished painting - just the basics are there - a wide eyed girl in front of a starry night sky. The winner of this auction will get to tell me what colour/style to make her hair, what colour eyes she should have, skintone, what kind of clothes, and what kind of wings!!!!!
Jasmine's CUSTOM FAIRY AUCTION!
A little trivia - did you know that "Green Dragonling", "Pink Butterfly Fairy", and "Golden Guitar Fairy" were all results of these custom fairy auctions? My customers must have good ideas - those are some of my best sellers, hehe!
Anyways - I have a couple of little mini paintings too - one is new:
"Fairy with a Red Shirt"
and then this one sadly had to be relisted, so here's your second chance:
"Eye Study in Green"
And I had to re-list TWO of my #01 Lt. Ed. Canvas prints (same bidder, sadly):
"Green Butterfly Fantasy #01/25 CANVAS Print"
and "Dark Pegasus #01/25 CANVAS Print"
Whew! Now I am off to see about some food........
AWESOME!!! I LOVE THIS...
oh yes.. green dragonling is a sticker now right? my partner and i saw 3 when we ventured to a different mall sunday...
i was saying to him that she was a commission of yours, if i remembered correct...
am i right am i right? :.D!
i relly liked to see her in person :.) even if only in sticker form. very awesome.
i think i'll get her in sticker... some one apparently tried to peeeeel 'peppermint fairy' off of my bumper. :.( it damaged, so i guess its time for a fresh one~
yay :.) and thanks!
Oo, Dark Pegasus is fantastic.
=( for non-paying bidders
=D for new minis and custom faeries!!! ^_^
all of those are great, and i'm eager to see how the custom will end up!
Hi, Jasmine. I've posted here a few times before, but i doubt you'd remember, it was a while ago. My name's Jalexa, and I'm a huge fan, and since the hurricane's hit in New Orleans, though I am nowhere near there, really, I've been so devastated. I think that's just so horrible, and I've always felt New Orleans was one of the most beautiful cities in the world, though I'm only 13 and have never been there. I'm so drawn to it... I feel like some great dream from my spirit has been crushed. So, I've been organizing all in my community I can to give the people help, and I just got to thinking that some of the best art I have seen from that region has been yours. So, I would like to know if, on behalf of the citizens, you would be able to do some kind of tribute painting and maybe if that happens, the profits of it could go towards helping them? It was just a thought, that I hope will be considered. I know anything you made would be absolutely beautiful. Thanks for reading this, even if it is silly. Love you, and everyone please keep The region in your thoughts and prayers.

Re: Hello, I have a question
Hi Jalexa! Thank you for your comment!
I have been heartbroken as well. New Orleans is one of my favourite cities - I have such fond memories of visiting there with my husband. Such a unique city, beautiful in strange ways.
Oh my yes, I am actually planning to list some new charity auctions (I am signing up with MissionFish through eBay to handle the donations directly) of some special New Orleans-themed prints and possibly a new painting. I want to help out in any way I can! I will be posting here in my journal when I have everything up & running!
Thank you again for your kind words and for your consideration!
Oh, wow! So it wasn't such a bad idea! I'm so glad! I'm redoing my room right now as a tribute to the French Quarter, and I'll look forward to getting my hands on a few of your prints. They're so lovely. I'm really glad people can always come together in times of need like this. It's really touching among all the heartbreak. Lots of love, and thanks again. And.. your welcome, too. Lol.
