Ahh...
I'm going to paint this afternoon before I go to Kachina's house tonight. I'll have the webcam on of course!

Here is a 360 degree virtual tour of the area right outside of my apartment. Look at "scene1". The yellow building with the light blue awning (that the virtual tour shows once you open it up) is my future building. You can see my view of the lake =) (have you seen a cleaner "downtown" in your life?).

Wow! So cool! I'm very envious of your Florida dwelling place. :) If I could only find a library job down there, I'd be there. Even if it wasn't Orlando, just being in the same state as Disney World would practically assure that I'd get there more often than I do now!

Quite fab!

Thanks!! ::basks in the jealousy:: We're so excited - I'm sure it will be an adventure!

There are a lot of libraries in Florida, I'm sure! Pay rates are lower in Florida, but the cost of living is a lot lower too (and there's no state income tax!). Except in Celebration where the cost of living (well, the cost of housing at least) is a bit higher (me and my expensive tastes, lol). My sister Kachina is looking for library jobs too - she just graduated from UMKC last year and she hasn't been able to find much (unless she just wants to be a page or something).

Disney's "Florida Residents" discounts are pretty cool - you save money on everything no matter where you live in Florida. Even if I lived in Key West or somewhere I'd still get an annual pass to Disney, if you go more than 7 days a year it pays for itself =)
