Good morning all! [Jul. 20th, 2005|11:12 am]
Jasmine Becket-Griffith
Last night we went with my sister Amber, her husband Chris, Lesley and Jared to an advance screening of "March of the Penguins" at the Enzian theatre!

I had a lot of fun - it was a good movie (kind of sad at times though, poor penguins), and the theatre was awesome! It is the kind of theatre where you sit at tables instead of in rows and it's an excellent restaurant - they had a ton of vegetarian/vegan offerings, and it was all delicious - http://www.enzian.org/ (their menu is HERE). I'm totally going back there many times - what a neat place. It plays mostly independent films and film festivals, etc.

I'm going to do a few mini paintings today and catch up on some paperwork and some emails (I'm woefully behind on all of that stuff). So it will be a busy work day for me.

You can watch me work HERE!

How is it sad...they dont die..do they??:(

Re: Penguins are cute...hehe

It was a really good movie!

It does show some penguin eggs and an older penguin who didn't make it through the cold, and there was a scary part where there was a seal chasing them, but it wasn't too bad. Most of the penguins make it out okay and their little babies are so sweet and fuzzy!
