aw yes! i'd love seeing photos of you:)
a pet hedgehog sounds so awesome :D
mmm it sounds like it'd be so relaxing to paint outside.. too bad it's always raining here though & i can't paint :P heh
I used to raise hedgehogs...they're a lot of fun:) especially the babies, they look like little grassburrs:)
Awww! I've seen some photos of baby hedgehogs - they are so cute and funny looking!
Painting outside sounds like a lot of fun and very healthy, all that fresh air. i often paint outside @ the cabin and mostly paint on a screened in porch ( there are a ton of bugs during some months in the Adirondacks and the screen is a neccessity then ).
Hedgehogs en plein air ! Fun.
I love old photos!!!! I have lots & lots of "instant relatives," acquired from antique stores & flea markets--lol!
Can't wait to see the hedgehog painting & old pics of you & Matt!!!
yeah! post 'em! I would love to see old Jasmine and Matt pics! ^____^
aw, hedgehog!! i want one. wow i would have thought that the paint would dry pretty fast with the heat down there, i know when its really hot here in the summer my paint dries almost to fast. painting outside is so nice :)
oh yeah, post pics please :)
You are painting a HEDGEHOG??????????? They are my favorite animals!!!! So cute!!!!!!
that is a lovely idea...painting outside. We had a beautiful day here as well.
Ooooh old photos...you HAVE to post them!
Outdoors?...what, as in actually LEAVE the house? O_O
I remember where I used to live, a whole family of hedgehogs (babies and all) would sneak in through the back door from our garden, and steal our old dogs food. I used sit still for hours waiting for them to come, so I could watch them. They are quite extraordinarily strange critters, but I think it would be cool to have one as a pet-even though you couldn't pet it:)
That's so neat how they just live wild in Europe!
Mine was an African pygmy hedgehog. At first he would jump up and down and try to poke us with his quills all the time, but after we'd had him for awhile he became more friendly, and I could hold him. He'd crawl up on my shoulders and hide under my hair, sometimes he'd get stuck there, hehe.
*cheers about the computer still working okay* :)
Re-moving-in to a new drive can be fun! It's like rearranging the furniture. :)
Post the piccas!!! I love looking at photos!!! I can't wait to see your little hedgehog painting. ^_^
It would be so sweet to see the photos of you and Matt!
Hedgehogs are lovely little things, although I've not had one as a pet :( When I go away on holiday I usually go to one of those holiday camp places and I always go on a little hedgehog-rescue-mission lol! Me and my brother found one stuck in a drain behind one of the holiday bungalows a few years ago and since then I have to check parts of the camp to make sure there aren't any there hehe!
Painting outside sounds great! I tried doing that once but my babies (aka my tortoises) came over and decided to try to eat my sketch book and bite the bottles of paint hehe.
Aww, I remember your sweet little hedgepig. (Well mostly from hearsay, but I do think I met him once or twice!)
Ok, I have to get a prints of scorpio and sag. better save up I am scorpsagian born on the cusp. so I am both more sag. Looks like a punk rocker. I cannot wait to see the hedgehog picture I love hedgehogs. Have a great day....Sharon
i would lke to know how do you do the little morphing pics? is it very complicated?
your paintings are amazing, i love them! i'm so eager to see your new one when it'll be finished!
Oh! Well, the hard part is spending a few days doing the actual acrylic painting, hehe!
After the painting is scanned in, then it's pretty easy. I go into Photoshop and make it 100 x 100 pixels. Then I get the photo - sometimes I already have the photo if I used it as a pose reference for that specific painting. Otherwise I'll sit in front of my webcam until I can get the same expression and face angle as in the painting if I do it the other way around.
Then I line up the two 100x100 pictures, and go into JASC Animation (it came free when I bought Paint Shop Pro) and set them as the first and last frames of the animation. I use the "morph" option to make the "inbetweens", and save as an animated .gif file, optimizing it to keep it under the max size of 40kb that LiveJournal allows.
It's honestly not as complicated as it sounds! The hard part is first making a good painting, lol.
Aw! I love hedgehogs! I used to have one! :)
I do have a license for T-shirts, but no - they're not out for sale yet! Is it on the Hot Topic website? It probably isn't one of mine, but it could be a rip-off.........
My niece sami saw your sticker of peppermint pretty here in Phoenix and they are selling quite well.
At the Milennia Mall?
It's most likely not one of mine, I don't license any shirts currently sold there, and I just spoke to a licensing agent a few minutes ago who assured me that it wouldn't be one of mine since it's not contracted and Hot Topic takes licensing very seriously.
I'll have to take a look up there sometime to see if I can figure out which one you mean, hehe!
Oh! Oops! Duh - it wouldn't be the Milennia Mall - they don't have a Hot Topic, hehe. I mean the Florida Mall?
Oh! I didn't even know they had a Hot Topic there at Festival Bay - I haven't been there for awhile. I will definitely check it out!
