Good morning, all! [Feb. 20th, 2005|08:53 am]
Jasmine Becket-Griffith
[mood |sicksick]

I think I'm feeling better today - I had an awful night though, I kept waking up thinking I couldn't breathe (I'm really really congested!) and I don't think I got more than a couple of hours all through the night =P Finally I just got up and did my morning Tae Bo, lol. That usually makes me feel better. Yesterday and the day before I was pretty much zonked out, I couldn't even concentrate enough to read a book or play video games or anything - I just kind of laid there with my eyes half open.

I'm going to try to paint now though - I need to do something or else I'll go crazy!!!! Don't know what really - I don't have a train of thought enough to "plan" a painting right now, I'll just start slapping the paint down, I guess.
You can watch me paint HERE on my webcam!
If I stop partway through, it's because I went back to bed =P

No orange juice or dairy products for you then miss jasmine-calmomile tea, and a hot toddy before bed will set you right.

Seriously-I know about running yourself ragged, so just take it easy k.

x

ps: can't Matt paint for a change?

I hate hearing how so many are sick this week. Sounds like it has hit you pretty badly. Hope you are on the recovering end of it now. Don't work too hard. Take time to get rested up so it doesn't relapse on you.

Feel better soon Sweetie!!!!!!!!

um, if you are congested, don't do aerobics until the congestion clears up ( it spreads the respiratory infection ). Exercise is OK, just keep it stretching, gentle yoga and moderate.

Also, if the congestion lasts more than a few days and you have trouble breathing more than ONE day, go to the doctor as there are instances of walking pnemonia, even in very healthy young people both with the current flu and various nasty respiratory viral infections.

In Florida, where you have a lot of air conditioning and closed environments, you might think about opening the windows to air out the house once a day, in particular after feeling unwell, and certainly changing the air filters on the air conditioners ( and vacuuming them ) after a major malaise.

Anyway that's what Balto told me to tell you

Thank you Robyn & Balto! I'm feeling much improved today, thank goodness!

We don't really use the air conditioner much in the winter, I'm a big proponent of open windows too. Nothing beats fresh air!!!!
