Man, I'm going to go eat some food! I have some vegetaran steaks ready to cook (they're really good!).
Aww she's so pretty, I love the background!
Thank you, Sorrel! I was going to put some more tres in there, but then I thought that just having the outline of one in the center would be more striking, I'm glad I left it that way!
jasmine , I HAVE A QUESTION ....I know you have been asked this a million times maybe someone else could help to, how in the world do you make those cool pictures change like that????????? Its really amazing and to tell ytou the truth it shows just how talented you really are , man I can't even paint a straight line let alnoe somethnig that looks like me , and I DO MEAN IT LOOKS JUST LIKE YOU !!!!!
You should be painting backgrounds at disney ,let them throw the other stuff out ! no one paints fairys like you !!!!
Thank you Mary!!
Oh! My icons? I take a photo of myself (either before the painting, if I base it on a photo of myself, or after the painting if I didn't have the photo and want to mimic the pose) and crop it down in Photoshop to make the first "frame". Then I re-size a scan of the painting and plop it down on top of the photo and try to line it up as close as I can. Then I use JASC Animation Shop (it was a free animation program that came along when I bought Paint Shop Pro) and use a morph feature to "inbetween" the images. It's easier than it sounds, hehe!
Ha! Believe it or not, I originally planned to move here to Florida to intern at the Disney animation studios =) (for either character design or for backgrounds!!!) By the time I was ready to move though, I was already doing well in my own career, so I didn't take the internship, but moved here anyways since I liked it here so much! I think it would have been a fun job, but to be honest I make more money working for myself and it's probably a lot more fulfilling. I think it would be neat to do a collaboration with Disney sometime though, like how Tim Burton did with Nightmare Before Christmas - that would be a dream come true! I worked for Disney for years and I love Disney stuff (especially the theme parks) - I would be thrilled to do something like that.
She is adorable! I love the colors, and the blue body/face paint--what a great idea.
Field of Poppies is so beautiful too--I think somehow I missed commenting before!
She's adorable, but my favorite part is the background. It's simple dramatics really pulls it all together. GREAT WORK!
