"Fairy Christmas"!!! NEW PAINTING!!!! [Nov. 27th, 2004|08:56 pm]

It's DONE!!!

I love how it turned out - I can hardly stop looking at it now that it's all finished - there is so much detail. It's funny - sometimes I think my hands paint without talking to my brain, because when I look at a painting sometimes that I myself painted I will see things that I myself never noticed, lol. Might be nuts, but hey - it's more fun that way =P

These faeries are sisters, I think their parents are off wrapping presents.....

At any rate - here is the new painting - I love it so!!! Click below to see.......

"Fairy Christmas"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And since it's a seasonal piece, I thought I'd stick it up as one of this week's SALE prints to make sure to give people plenty of time to snag one way in advance for the holidays....

"Fairy Christmas" 10"x8" print is on sale for $10.00!

"Fairy Christmas" 16"x12" print is on sale for $20.00!

Oh man, I am so beat - that sucked the life out of me I think! I need sustenance - off to find some food!!!

OMG!!! This one is so cute!! The sisters, you really captured that look of youth about them, especially the two younger ones. I love their little home. It's so pretty . . . the wood, the stone fireplace, the trees with all the lights. You did a wonderful job, Jasmine!

I think it's really neat that you notice things afterward that you don't remember intentionally painting. =) hehe Must be more fun that way, like you said. I think that sometimes amazing things can come from immersing yourself fully in the process, just like you said your hands painted without your brain really thinking about it. It's as if you "felt out" the painting. ^_^
