It's another beautiful day, as always, hehe. I love the fall/winter time here in Florida - it is so mild and breezy and perfect! We have the windows open a lot, which is very nice =)|
I'm feeling a lot better still today, and of course I'm painting! I've been painting solidly almost every day now - mostly working on commissions (this time of year, before the holidays of course, commissions pretty much dominate my art time) - it's so nice having Matt working on the print orders - it gives me so much more painting time! I never really think of painting itself as being work since it's so enjoyable to me =)
I finished a commission yesterday and have started on a new GIANT painting (tied with "Starry Night Fairy" as my largest non-commissioned work) - 30"x24". I'm not sure what it will be quite yet - I'm working on a very nice swampy landscape though - it should be very cool.......
I've got some errands to run but I'll be working on and off throughout the day on the new painting! You can peek in on me HERE!
Ooh, seeing as Starry Night Fairy is one of my absolute faves of yours, I can't wait to see this new one. *runs off to spy in a stalker fashion* :)
Glad you're starting to feel lots better!!!
Nice to hear its nice down there and that you are better! That painting is huge! WOW! Well g2g...teacher
It sounds so nice in Florida, I'll have to visit there one day, I've not been to any part of America!
Ooo a BIG painting! Sounds very nice!
hi jasmine~~i was checking out your webcam and i thought...man, this painting is gonna turn out awesome!! and so huge too!! i bought one of your canvas prints and i fell in love with it! i could only imagine seeing an "ORIGINAL" of that size~~i WILL own one of your orginals someday you know... :) i'm glad you're progressively getting better...i hope the flu bug doesn't strike san antonio, but i think it it already has, cause almost everyone around me is getting sick! i just have to keep pumping that gin and juice into my veins! :)) take care... ~patty~
Hi there! I added you as an LJ friend about a month ago, but it was last night that I actually saw you painting. And it was great watching you do your magic! :)
Thank you Jenni!!!! Lately I've been working on a lot of commissioned paintings (which for the clients' privacy I work "off camera"), but I try to work on-cam when I can =)
