Mushrooms! Neato! Good luck with all your painting! =) How is the weather there during the summer (temperature wise)? What about winter? I'm getting a little sick of Maine winters already, and from what you say about Florida, it sounds like a nice place! =)
Jasmine , sure there weren't toadstools the poison kind we use to get them growing in NJ. I am feeling blah today pulled my neck and back out in pain what is one to do. I e-mailed you about the self-portait you are working on. Take care, Sharon. Also my nieces fish nemo died today, she is three 1/2 she said well mom he bit the dust..we all laughed hehe too funny from her mouth, but she is a wise little one.
There are so many types here - I'm sure most of them are probably poisonous!!!
I'll get to my email a little bit later after I finish this one - I should have her done tonight!
The summers are nice - I like them at least, lol. I'm from Kansas City where we would get VERY hot, humid summers, so compared to that, Florida is pretty mild. We do have days up in the 90s though, but usually upper 80s for the highs, 70s for the lows.
The winters are very mild - we haven't had a freeze since I've lived here at all. Usually winter days are in the 60s-70s, with lows in the 50s. Not bad! We're in Central Florida too, so we don't have to really worry about hurricanes, and it's still only an hour in either direction to the beach!
Nice! I remember when I went to a theme park in the mountains of NC called "Tweetsie Railroad", I met a group of people from Florida . . . they were all freezing b/c they had on shorts and it was so foggy and chilly up on the moutain. =P LOL
That kind of weather sounds wonderful!! I thought it would be hotter than that in FL during the summers. Hmm . . . I might just consider visiting Florida for a while sometime to see how I like it. LOL.

Aren't you right handed? Did you flip the camera or something?
I am right handed, but lately I've been trying to teach myself to paint left handed too, in case I ever injure my right hand, lol. I've been switching back and forth on this painting!

I'd say she is definitely skilled with both hands!!!!
That is a good skill to learn!
Oh your painting is turning out SO pretty! I just love how you paint hair, it's so shiny! =^_^=
Do you have any spooky cool plans for any Halloween inspired paintings coming up ;) ;) All these cool fronts we are getting here in Texas makes me think it's getting to be October all ready and so I am psyched early for Halloween! Eek!
Oh yes - this year I'm going to start EARLY for Hallowe'en paintings! Last year it snuck up on me (there was a lot of excitement - my sister had her baby on Hallowe'en night!!!!!!!!!!), but this year I'll churn out a bunch of cool Halloweeny paintings & prints for sure! I'm going to try to get some cards done too.....
Oh WOW I can't wait! I've been planning up some good spooky pieces.. my favorite time of year! I'm hoping I might be able to win one of your actual Halloween paintings! ooh I'll have to wait and see! =^_^=
oh cool! I peek at the webcam! I feel like I'm cheating to see it as you are working on it! hee hee!! But then in the end the whole thing comes together so well, that it's like I only saw a TINY bit of what you were working on, so no surprises spoiled there!
WOW!! Those mushrooms sound COOOOOOL!!! THOSE ARE HUGE!
I'm such a dork, I need to look at your website before I ask you something (I was going to ask if you were going to do certain prints of a couple of certain paintings...but I should be a good customer & go look before I ask!!)
OH MY GOSH! I read you comment above (and Matt's HA!!) about you working with both hands to make sure you are covered if anything ever happens to your right arm. THAT'S AMAZING! I was just going to suggest insuring your right arm, but this kinda works even better!
The mushrooms in front of my house are all 1UPs! :-D
