Good morning! [Jul. 31st, 2004|09:30 am]
Jasmine Becket-Griffith
I'm feeling much better this morning - thank you to all of you who wished me well =)

I think I was just working a tad bit too hard lately, lol. So I got a full night's rest and I'm doing much better! I got up, did my Tae Bo, took a shower, and I'm feeling fine!

We're going out to buy bicycles today!!!

And then tonight we're going to nymphie's housewarming party!

(If I squeeze in any painting today, I'll post a link to my webcam.....)

Have fun! I love biking! A bike would probably be really helpful for those trips to the post office, eh?

Hehe, well - inadvertantly it will help! Matt can ride his bike to the office, which would leave me the car so I could drive to the posty. I typically have several dozen packages to send (they gave me one of those big yellow things to use now) which I can't realy bring on a bike. So I'll have to drive - which I've only done like once in the past couple of years, hehe. I have my license, but it hasn't come up much.

haha. Same here about driving. I have my license, but don't need it. I don't even have a car! LOL. I walk and bike everywhere as long as it's within 10 miles or so. =)

Geezum, your business is as much art as it is shipping and handling. =P LOL.

It's true - that's a big part of my job. Luckily Matt only works part time - the rest of the time he works for me, making prints and packaging them. Our printer runs about 8 hours a day, sometimes longer, and it takes several hours a day to get the order sorted, labeled, and packaged. That's the mundane part of being an artist!!!

Hey Jasmine, Good to hear your feeling better! Take some echinachea and vitamin c, and maybe some green tea when you start to feel that evil sore throat coming on-(it's what I do) and it usually does the trick. Have fun at the housewarming party!! ~Erin

Hi Jasmine!

Just wanted to say glad you're better! Oh and biking...was into that for a while till I hit a (parked) car and needed pins in my wrist, LOL! Typical me, Mr Accident Prone! ;)

Warmest wishes.

Aaah! I hope that doesn't happen to me - I'm paranoid about injuring my hands (being a painter of course). So paranoid in fact, I've started slowly forcing myself to paint left-handed from time to time in case I ever lose the use of my right!

I only ever have bizarre accidents...ones that leave people going "how did he *do* that?!?" LOL

That does sound like serious paranoia! LOL Maybe you should think about insuring your hands? I know it isn't likely but it never hurts to make sure! Especially as it is your income.

Warm wishes.
