Yay! Matt's home helping me get out a huge post office shipment today (I'm glad - I don't have to walk and carry all of these orders, I'd probably have to make a couple of trips, hehe). |
I'm also working on and off on my big painting - you can watch my progress HERE! Hopefully I will have her finished tonight =)
You know you have a great husband when they are willing to help. He sounds like a great guy. (you deserve it!)
She looks wonderful! Can't wait to see her done.
Have a GREAT day!
She's looking gorgeous so far. Good luck on finishing her tonight!
Wholy freekin cow that painting rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!
How do you get your shape outlines so straight and accurate? What type of brush(es) do you use? The painting looks amazing so far. =D
I've found that making FAST, very confident strokes will make a good straight line or well-developed shape. The slower you stroke the more likely you will wobble, lost confidence, and make an accidental smudge or wiggle!
I just Royal's cleargrip golden taklon brushes. They are cheap - only $2 or $3 at Michael's. I buy every size they have, but mostly I just use the littlest ones. The golden taklon is a synthetic fibre so it holds its shape well (and is suitable for vegetarians like me, lol).
Oh my gosh, that's not what I was expecting when I went to look at it!!!! Those wings are gorgeous!!!! I can't believe I love it more than I did before!!!! Argh, I need a way to get some money fast, lol!!!!
Can I add you to my friends list please?
Of course!! That's what I'm here for, lol.
Welcome to my LiveJournal!!!!! I periodically add people back too!
