I'm back from Missouri!!! (and Kansas, and Nebraska, etc., lol) =)|
I had a wonderful time, and I've returned home with my sister Kachina and her little son Theodore in tow!
I've got a million emails and orders to sort through, so it might not hear much from me for a little while, hehe - lots of work to do!!!!
I tried to keep up with LiveJournal while I was gone, but I'm hopelessly lost, so please excuse me if I seem "out of the loop" for a while.
I've got a lot on my plate to work on - a big private commissioned portrait, a bunch of illustrations for the Aesop's Fables book, and of course my usual original paintings, print auctions, etc. to figure out. I see some big boxes that arrived for me which probably means that my huge stock of stickers has arrived! That means that very soon my sold-out stickers will be available again - I'll post here when they're up for sale =) I've also got a TON of other merchandising stuff going on (and a NEW book project, which is top-secret until further notice....), and will update as that all progresses......... so much work, ahhhh!
Kachina and Theo are here until June 15th - a good long time! And Kachina's husband James is flying down here to join them partway through their visit! We are moving into our new HOUSE on June 11th, and James is going to help Matt move all of the heavy furniture =P
I will be painting some new artwork for eBay a little later today, as well as working on the commissioned portrait, various book illustrations, and some new canvas prints!
But now I've got to attack that terrifying pile of email - you have no idea how much work builds up for me whenever I go out of town. I kept up pretty well with the very important stuff on my Sidekick Wireless while I was gone, but the rest I had to save until I was back home.
I'm off to work, etc.! I'll post here when I'm painting on my webcam ;)
Ah, if only I had the time.....
i hope ya had a good, relaxing break. you are going to need all the energy you can muster for all that work you seem to have!!!
I'm glad you had a fun time ^_^ I don't know how you keep up with so many things, it amazes me! If I tried to do all that, I think I would end up acting like Linda Blair in the Exorcist, lol!
Geez jasmine, busy busy.....You do so well with your artwork...I wish that I was as busy as you are with your art....hell with your success id be answering emails all day with a smile!!!
glad you are back!!

Oooh!!! I am so glad you had fun!! And that youre back! :)
I had a quick quick question for you, if you dont mind.
Im making a page on my site for a model call, and I just love the way you worded the "fine print" when you made posts for your model call. Do you mind if I borrowed it, but of course modify it to my needs?
Sure, Nedda!! I think I did a good job wording it, hehe!
Welcome back! I use to live in Omaha, NE. I read in one of your posts that you went to the zoo there. It's a pretty awesome zoo being Omaha and all. I'm glad you had a good time.
Oh man - that new Desert Dome and Nocturnal Swamp exhibit is AWESOME!
I love the Omaha Zoo - I've gone there a lot!
I've seen the Desert Dome before I moved down here, but the Nocturnal Swamp exhibit must've been done after I left. So when I go back up to Omaha to visit my family, I'll have to check it out.
Sounds like you had a great time... That's great that James is helping Matt move.... but did Matt forget to tell you he bought my husband?? hehe... read back in the journals... I had one of those days where I wanted to put my husband for sale on ebay and Matt was one of the bidders... wanted him to help you guys move =)
