I bought Fujifilm S5000 and I am sooooo incredibly happy with this one. It gives wonderful quality of images, its fast and batteries working for such a long time - it can be so handy when you working with it for a long time - my father use Minolta Dimage 5 and sadly its terrible with batteries...15 min and than its done.
What kind of video card is it?
NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 128MB - it worked awesomely for the last couple of months, but now I can't do ANYTHING with it - I have to keep my hardware acceleration set at freaking NONE otherwise it will crash.
have you tried updating your drivers? That might be a fix, but for now I'll keep looking for one if that one doesn't work.
Yeah, I've downloaded the latest drivers, and the latest DirectX just in case, but to no avail =( I've tried every fix I can find, but nothing will work!!! It's driving me nuts! I'll probably break down and buy another one =P

my sony cybershot is great! i've had lots of digi cameras and this one is the best so far. i have the 3.2 megapixel but it comes in a 4 and 5 for even higher quality pics if you need it. it also has rechargeable batteries, which i need!
i'd stay with either sony or nikkon, or maybe fugi
I'm not sure how high quality you want your camera. But the Kodak Easyshare series are nice, servicable cameras. I think I get 3megapixels on the medium setting (from low, good and great quality settings). I use the 4230 and its a couple of years old. The 6000 series is only 150-200 some odd dollars (from what I've seen at Kmart and the like). I've been very happy with my Kodak.
Alot of digital photographers I've seen use a Fuji Finepix - they are ALL great and have optical zoom instead of digital zoom which is a higher quality zoom pic, and the pics I've seen look like professional 35mm camera quality. :)
Hope you get your graphics card figured out soon so you can play again!!!
Um..I use the HP Photosmart 320 it is a 2.1 MP...I think it takes nice pictures..I just use regular like Rayovac batteries in it and they last for a decent amount of time..plus the view screen on the back is a nice size and has a nice picture...I think it goes for about $100 at like circuit city--best buy--those places.. I'm pretty happy with it anyways! ;o)
canon powershot A60...i loooooooooooooooove mine. :) takes great pictures and doesn't eat batteries like candy. ;)
I have the Canon Powershot A60 as well. I take her everywhere. Just the right size. Not too big, not to small. Very content with my camera. Very reasonably priced too from Best Buy.
You should come play NeverWinter Nights! :D
Hehe, I do actually have NeverWinter Nights too, lol!!!! That is a great game! I played EverQuest for years as well. I just had to narrow it down and focus on just one otherwise I'd always be playing games and not painting, lol!!!!!!!!
seems like a busy day gain!!!!!! Good luck girl!
Ok, this really has nothing to do with anything in your post, it was just a random thought that came to me. I was packing up some of my paintings today, one was headed for Las Angeles. Now to me Las Angeles seems like one of those especial places where celebrities might hang out lol.
Anyway it made me think of you and I thought " I wonder of jasmine has sold any of her paintings to celebrities or did a commission of a celebrity" Funny thought I guess, Buy honestly, with your success I wouldn’t be surprised, and I’m curious to know?
I know if that happened to me I crap my pants!
My mum just bought a Kodak EasyShare DX4530 I believe it has 5. somehitng megapixels. It's SO easy to use! I figured it out in the first day.. you can even record small videos with it too. I believe she got it at Wal Mart for about 300. I'm pretty sure you have seen some of the pics it takes, especially the recent cemetary ones (the ones with me in the pink dress) It uploads SUPERFAST and has an autorename just in case one file has the same name so you don't lose any image files that way. It has a nice zoom too.
bah! i need a new camera to :P mine turns itself off and skips pictures sometimes, its so annoying. plus the resolution isnt very good anymore, the newer cameras take such nicer pictures!
