Painting! [Mar. 6th, 2004|05:59 pm]
Jasmine Becket-Griffith

Man, I bought a TON of art supplies! I'm so happy!!

I bought about 40 tubes of paint, 20 or 30 brushes, and a bunch of other stuff too. Including a nifty paint rack that holds ALL of my paint and spins around so I can grab my paints as needed.

I'm going to be painting off and on for the rest of the night! You can watch me HERE on my webcam!

Re: Ooooooh!

Not sure yet, lol. Sometimes when I have new brushes (that will paint straight, clean lines) I start with a good checkerboard, lol. Like in "Horned Fairy" or "Alice and the Cards. It's actually the same colour I used in "Horned Fairy" too, I'm not sure if I'll keep it monochromatic or not....

Hehe, nothing special - just tap water!

I'm just careful to make sure I don't let my brushes STAY in water for very long - just for a little cleaning, so they don't lose their shape! One of the worst things for a brush is to leave them overnight in the water - it makes the bristles bend up!

I hope that one day I make enough from my artwork to drop tons of money on art supplies, I know the arnt cheap, the idea of going out and buying 40 tubes of paint and 40 brushes or so is a dream I would love to experiance.

One day....OH Yes! one day I will have my little art studio with all the supplies I could ever need!
