Dreary day.... [Jan. 30th, 2004|01:57 pm]
Jasmine Becket-Griffith
64 degrees and drizzling yuck. What happened to my 80 degrees and sunshine??? Come back!!!!

Getting ready to hit the Post Office and the bank. How fun!

Hehe, I should just post this every couple of days and it would pretty much be accurate:

""Paint--->computer---->post office---->bank---->fabulous vacation---->paint--->repeat ad nauseum""

Extreme fun mixed with extreme tedium, lol. Can't complain too much, that's pretty much what I go for.

This weekend I'm going to be working on some commissioned work! If you're reading this, Erika, Laura - it's okay with both of you if I work in front of the webcam, right? Just let me know!

I'll probably try to squeeze in some more originals too, I'd like to get some of that done before I go down to the Caribbean next week. Hopefully it won't be too drizzly down in the Keys, I want to get some good snorkeling in! Get some mermaid inspiration =)

I'll update with my webcam link when I start up painting. I've got to eat something first too.

Sorry to jump on the bandwagon - but I have you all beat.

It's currently -22 degrees F here - with the Wind Chill (from the North at 7 mph) it feels like -40.
At least it's mostly sunny. :)

You know what you can do with your 64 degrees. :P

I'm going to go see if my car will start and go shopping if it does.

Re:

Yeah, later on though I actually talked to one of the mods, and they explained that it was actually supposed to have been rejected for not having a background, and that they must have clicked the wrong reason, lol. That had thrown me off forever - I always considered it to be a lot more proportional than my usual work, hehe.

Still though..... I've never seen anything wrong with a black background....

Well that's good to know! I think a black background is just fine too! ;)

I only WISH it were sixty four and drizzling.

I only WISH it were warm enough TO drizzle anything but..snow.

Snow..snow..snow...more ..frapping... snow -_-

funny

Everyone was protecting you yesterday,( over the silly issue put to rest)(RIP) no one is giving you sympathy over the weather. heheheeheee! I can't even imagine living in the weather they are describing. I would never leave my house. Native Californian here and not where it snows. The sun is trying to peek out, feels great seeping in the window...I completely understand how you feel. You get used to the sun!!!!! And somehow it always makes for a better day.
