ANYways...... [Jan. 29th, 2004|09:40 pm]
Jasmine Becket-Griffith
I have two NEW paintings!!!!

"Tropical Hideaway"

and

"Keeper of the Green Orbs"

Both of these were inspired by a little walk I took across the lake here in town (there are lots of nature trails and stuff there). Here are the photos!

Enjoy!

Wow, Jas!! The backgrounds are just beautiful! I love the hair on "Tropical Hideaway". It's so shiny! And the dress on "Keeper of the Green Orbs" is really great. And once again I am jealous of where you live!

Oh!

I LOVE the hair on the faye in 'Tropical Hideout'! If I had hair like that, I wouldn't move away from my mirror!
I must say, of looking at all of your wonderful art that you have on your website, this is my absolute favorite. It's gorgeous. Let me know, please oh please, when/if prints will be made available of this one. I'll dip into my college funds, gotta have a print!
And keeper of the green orbs, I love the eyes. They are so bright and striking.

Those woods are SO magical! I love them! The concept of the Keeper of the Green Orbs piece I really dig.

Re: question

Hi Rubidia!!! (Sorry I am sooo slow going through all of these LJ comments - eek!!!)

Oh yes! I will definitely have her as a print! I'll let you all know when the prints are for sale!

Also - is this the one here: http://www.strangeling.com/fuschiahairedfaerie.jpg (this picture is too dark, she's really much brighter!)? Oh yes! I never put her on my website, but I can make you a print! Just remind me next time you order =)

What a nifty little hollow! I would be inclined to leave a little crystal or perhaps something shiny in there as a gift for the faeries!

Surrounded by inspiration, aren't you! Both of the new ones are great - I love the elaborate background on Hideaway, those sky colors are unusual from you! ;)
