::cries::

my beautiful dress came in the mail today. i was sooo excited! it is gorgeous, and too big on me =(

i had wrongly assumed that a size medium in Japanese sizing would be like a Small or even an X-Small in american sizes. i had been worried that it would be too small since Asian women often tend to be on the tiny side. but no, this perfect dress, which i spent a ridiculous amount of money on, is too big. it's a sleeveless dress, like a cute little sundress, but the top is cut too full and i show waaaaay too much =(

sigh.

i've looked it over, and i don't think i can alter it. it is so finely crafted and gorgeous i'd be afraid of ruining it. instead i'll try to re-sell it on eBay i suppose.

sigh. it's tough sometimes being a flat-chested fairy.

i'm just going to have to get all of my clothes custom made i guess =P

aww!!! can't you just shrink it in the dryer?

know how you feel. i spent alot of money on the victorias secret website because they had cute little sundresses with built in bras. i ordered size larges and when i got them.. they were huge!!! i can't even shrink them either and they're all REALLY low cut. but the good news is that victoria's secret, despite the size of their models.... maybe seems to have a normal standard for women sizes.
