He he, I'll leave it running in the background.
Is it a commision? I see a street with buildings and lanterns... right?

Nope! Not a commission, lol, just a little different for me. It's going to be a New Orleans ghost scene, or something.

Hehe, whenever I take a few days to do a bunch of commissions, when they're through, I usually try to paint something a little more challenging and special when I come back to painting my original ideas. I sometimes zone out a little while I work on commissions, and spend that time thinking up new paintings!

So this morning I went through a bunch of photos from our last trip to New Orleans (we love that place!) and I've picked some French Quarter shots to base it on.... we'll see....

Aahh I see! It can be so nice to do something different. I'll check on your cam now and then to see the progress. It's so nice to see how others work.

I'm not such a good commision artist. :\ I think it was in 1997, I spent the summer drawing portraits for other people. Result: took up my pencils again exactly one year later. Didn't draw for a whole year. I was so sick of it. Bad experience so I'm a bit hesitant to do more on request.

New Orleans, must be rich of historical places. I would love to visit the US sometime, but it's so big I wouldn't know where to start. lol

Its really neat with your camera - sadly if I'll point my cameras in the shop while I am painting probably everybody will be still asleep - hours difference is still VERY big!
