ok, so a couple of days ago we bought some groceries. when we got home, i put away the perishables (or so i thought) and left the canned goods still in the bag on the floor. being the lazy wench that i am, the bag of canned goods was still on the floor today. so, i finally got around to putting them away this afternoon, and lo and behold i found a bag of shredded co-jack cheese. i was almost in tears - i love cheese so much, and this bag (while it didn't look any different, i of course threw it away) was clearly ruined. poor cow, spent all that time making me some cheese and i just throw it away. i'm surprised my kitties didn't get into it!

anyway, matt left for work, and a little while later he came back with a bag of shredded co-jack cheese! they didn't need him at work tonight so he thought he'd surprise me. what a sweetie!

wooohooo...

im so glad im not alone in my kitchen laziness. i do the same thing with the groceries. so far i have mannaged not to leave anything perrishable in the bags. i feel for you with your spoiled cheese woes. i wish my husband would bring me cheese, he usually just cuts it though. ok i know that was a really really bad joke but the oportunity was there and i am really tired so i took it. my friend jen called me today and told me she had a look at your art and she is envious of your talent. not that she should be because she does excellent work herself. anyways you have another fan.

Re: wooohooo...

i can always use more fans =)

i'm terribly lazy at the whole domestic thing. a lot of people think since i don't have any outside employment (being self-employed) that i would be a housewife or something. not by a long shot. matt's the one who does the dishes & laundry & stuff - he genuinely enjoys cleaning and keeping house. i hope that someday i'll make enough for both of us and he can be a house-husband.

i do like cooking though - i love making up new recipes. being vegetarian i think it means i have to be a little creative in my meal planning, and i'm all over anything creative =)
