Marie Masquerade

Good morning!

Good morning!!!!!!!

I'm getting ready to paint! I'm working on a Fairy Dwelling and I am LOVING how it's turning out. The little faeries have a little home made out of sticks and roots and moss, augmented with little bits of trash and litter (broken glass, bits of ribbon, paper, etc.). It is so cute, and it's a HUGE 20"x16" with sooo much detail! I'll try to finish it today!

New PAINTING!!!!!!!!!

I finished it! I love it!!!

It features a strange faery dwelling indeed. These faeries must live relatively close to a human-infested environment, since they have incorporated various pieces of litter and trash into the construction. Faeries don't really know any better - they just thought that they were pretty and shiny materials to use. If you look closely you can see the remnant of a Starbucks styrofoam cup, and a broken Heineken bottle that they seem to be using to collect rainwater. There are pretty flowers and jewels hung up alongside bottle caps and soda-pop can pulltabs.

Here it is:

Fairy Dwelling #1: "UnderHill"

Now, I'm dragging myself away from my computer and my painting table to eat some dinner! I haven't had anything all day, I've been so busy!!! =)
