OH Jasmine...how wonderful for you all!!! I know with my first baby they said it was a false alarm and sent me home...2 hours later I was back at the hospital in full blown labour but it took four days for that little beggar to come out!!!! She was a stubborn one! But I have to say it was worth every grunt and groan and BOY oh BOY that epidural was a BLAST!!!..he he (rubber legs) Now that baby girl will be 21 in December and we will be taking her for her first drinking experience in the United States on one of the Casino boats here in Shreveport, La. Up in Canada the drinking age is 19...so it's nothing new to her...lol

I just can't wait for your good news on the new arrival!

Waiting with you,

Cheryl (Canadian made)

A baby!! A baby!!

Ooh! A Halloween baby! Yep - these false alarm things come and go.... the thing to remember is to stay calm ~~~~ A feeling of love and security around her is the best. Wild animals don't birth when they are all stressed out - they find a place and center themselves. I'm envisioning her sitting back, breathing, relaxing, opening up... and the baby finding its way out as gently, joyfully, and effortlessly as possible.

This is from the Birth Lotus pillow I made for when I had Quinn last year... the spiral and the lotus image were to focus on opening...
Many hugs and bright blessings!!!

A Halloween baby! How neat! :-D

Please tell her for me that I hope things go quickly and smoothly for her, and I wish her congratulations and the best of luck!

Here's the newest news (gonna post in my LJ, too):
Got off work at 12:30am and came home to a message saying that they are BACK in the hospital as of midnight. Apparently Chi wanted to talk to me, so I'm waiting for the call back!

Oh, I know!!! I guess only part of it had broken =P So they sent her home, and then a few hours later they went back and they broke the rest of her water. Now it's going to be baby time any minute!!!
