Both little faes are so beautiful! I love what you did with the wood panel, painting on wood really compliments your style. I'm glad to see you put a buy-it-now on that one, definitely worth every penny!
Thank you!!! Yeah, I stuck her in my eBaystore with a "Fixed Price" so she's just going to stay there until somebody buys her at full price =) I've started doing that with especially large, detailed, or "unusual" piece, hehe!
You should make sure your ebay store is well-stocked. Your work in "The Art of Faery" is going to generate a lot of interest for people who've never seen your art, and I bet your sales go way up!
Hehe, that's the plan!!! I like having a constant stock of originals available. I get a lot of email from fans who don't like the auction format, or don't use eBay, and that way I can offer them original pieces for sale right away. I'd really like to have maybe 10 or 20 originals in my store at any given time, but I'll have to build up to that!! I want to make sure that I still offer as many "penny auctions", because I love the excitement of them, and I want to make sure that all of my fans can afford to at least bid!!!
that wood panel is just stunning!! :)
The wood panel painting is gorgeous. It definitely fits your style. And of course the Bejeweled Night Fairy is beautiful!
they are both gorgeous!!
my dad wanted to buy your little red riding hood painting but it got up to high:)
I love your Arch piece - you did a great job painting on wood and designing it like that! It's fab! (and yes, worth every penny & then some!)
Oh Jasmine...I know that your fairy on the wood panel thing..will probably sell pretty soon! But if it still there by next month..I am going to buy it! Darn new furniture..lol
They are both b-e-a-u-tiful!
Thank you Rubidia!!!!!
My items like that in my eBay store will stay there until purchased (even if it takes months and months!), so she might still be there for you! I'm always glad to see my paintings go to people like you, who will give them a happy home!!!
Your ebay links used to take me to your pictures, but now they just take me to ebay. If I want to see your paintings I have to search for you by seller name. Is this something I'm doing, or do you know?
The links I posted here in my Journal? Or the ones on my website or on my mailing list? The ones in my journal here seem to be working correctly!
I love them both, but the Faery Arch is especially stunning! I love the way you designed the arch. Actually, the faery sort of reminds me of the Mona Lisa-but it's a faery, Jasmine style version :)
Thank you Lindsey!!!! That is quite a compliment! You see, I was trying to do a "Renaissance-Portrait" style piece, and I can't think of a more famous example than the Mona Lisa, so I must have done a good job, hehe!!! >^_^
Isn't painting on wood fun? I used to paint on canvas but ever since I discovered wood, I haven't gone back. I like the textural stuff that comes out of painting on weird surfaces.
I looooove painting on wood! It's addictive - I'm probably going to grab a bunch more panels when I buy more supplies!
I've been sick so I'm rather late....but both of these are lovely! "Faery Arch" is wonderful! I LOVE paintings done on wood! And the gothic arch fits your style perfectly! "Bejeweled Night Fairy" is great as well! I love her silver hair and pink eyes! :)
