New paintings~ [Sep. 6th, 2003|09:39 pm]
Jasmine Becket-Griffith
Ah, I've got three paintings up on eBay:

A new little 8"x10" called "Faerie with Moth Wings" (this cutie is the fae-sister of the girl in "Lady of the Faeries"!)

My 12"x16" "A Millipede Friend"

and another 12"x16" "Silver Haired Fae Drake"

Meh, my head is KILLING me. I know I've got a bunch of email and stuff to do, but I'm drained. I'm going to pull away from work stuff for the rest of the evening (or night rather, it's 10PM here) and watch The Two Towers with Matty =)

As always I like them all! But, when it comes to the Faerie With Moth wings, all I can say is wow...she is breathtaking. Such a lovely painting, if I was going to buy one I would buy her.

Thank you!!! I always like hearing feedback from you!!!

Whoa - I just looked at the auction and somebody already bought her with the "Buy-It-Now" option - I guess she already has a new home!

I LOVE "A Millipede Friend"! It's wonderful! I'm the high bidder too! (but only for about 2 seconds!) :P

OH Jasmine! The faery with Moth wings has got to be my new favorite! I love it when you do faeries that look older, if that makes any sense. Like woman, rather than little girls. I think this one particurally bore a striking resemblance to you! And I see that is was snatched up right away!

Of course they are all breathtaking, but this one has got to be one of my favorites =)

Gosh Jasmine...the first one the Faerie with moth wings is just amazing..well worth the 250.00 dollars!
And I love the amount of detail that you put on the A milipede Friend! Lovely as always!
Someday I will be proud to bid on of your items..*note to self*start saving Ruby!

The faerie with the moth wings is so very beautiful! I love the design on her clothing and of course her wings :) I'm so jealous of the person who bought it.

They are all splendid, but Silver haired Fae is my favourite-the colours are beautifully rendered, and I like particularly the contrast of the pupils against the background.
I'm sorry you have a head ache hon'-you've had a bit of a tough week I believe and so you've earned a bit of a breather whilst your auctions pull in such good prices.
Hope you're feeling better today.

Those moth wings look awesome. I love the millipede, you even made it look pretty. Who would of thought a millipede could look pretty? Millipedes and centipedes give me the creeps but this one looks awesome.

i want that moth faery!! im sad now i cant have her:( i see you did the pattern on the dress, very pretty. actually it reminds me of a skirt that jen has i think. that milipede is so cool! the ones we have around here are all black eccept for little red spots on the back and i think maybe on the legs i cant remember exactly. also i love the color you made the drakes eyes.

Re: oops

They're very similar - millipedes are just more leggy, hehe. We had centipedes back in KC, but I never saw wild millipedes until we moved here to Florida. They are huge!

I'm so sad that I wasn't on-line yesterday, I would have BIN on the mothwings in a heartbeat! Usually I see all of your pieces on Ebay before any of them have bids. :( Ah well, it must be nice to have a buy it now!
BTW, will you be making prints of White Oleander and this one? I'd absolutely love to buy them.

I certainly will have prints! Just drop me an email when you'd like to order them. It will probably take me awhile to put them on my website or on eBay, but I've already test-printed both and I can crank them out whenever you like!
