Jasmine Becket-Griffith
After we buy a house (so I can decorate the walls how I like without worrying about a landlord...) I am so going to get one of these marble murals in my bathroom and or kitchen...

Beautiful! I'd love to have that done to my whole house, not just the bathroom lol. I'd do a jasmine art room, a jinx, a kayti, a delphine, a lindsey etc. ;D

The coolest display I saw of that was a 10'x12' wall of undersea scene painting by Robert Weyland which is in front of his gallery and water is flowing down on it. Here I found a pic (see the tile fountain on the left side)

But won't it be cooler to have YOUR own artwork tiled up on your walls? :)

Jasmine you should look into buying bisque tiles and painting your own! Seriously. Do they have any of those "paint your own" pottery places there in Florida? You can buy the tiles and the paints and take them home and do your own. I have been painting my own pottery this way for years. It is really neat. I plan to do my own scenes for the bathroom and kitchen when we get home and build a house. The paints are very easy to use- the only problem is that the paints look so different from when you paint them on to when you fire them, so you have to have the chart right next to you while you paint. If you are interested, I have loads and loads of information.

I used to work at a "Paint your own Pottery" place called Glaze n' Blaze =) I often did things similar to what you are doing for clients! Talk about a GREAT way to make money!!! ;) Not to mention the satisfaction I saw on their faces once they saw the finished product!

You are correct though, the colors can be a bit off unless you have a chart.

Oh wow - I'd love to do that!!!!!!! Send me any info you have - I have no idea how to start. I've had a lot of requests from customers asking me if I do hand-painted tiles - that would be great!!!

How neat! I didn't realize they had tile made like that. I want it too. I also want to someday paint a mural on my walls when I own my own place.

Those are BEAUTIFUL.
We have paintings on stone and mosaic tile patterns, but they're of like fruit and suns and things, NOTHING like that.

I think they're printed (not hand-painted) in some ink dyeing process, so that's why they're relatively inexpensive. They are so cool!
