you'll probably notice it by the time I get this posted but I think the last two are both linked to poison fairy #12. All of them are cute! :D
Oops!! I just fixed it =)
All three are just gorgeous. ^____^
I think my favorite is the stinging nettle. :)
Hey Jas, you got ROBBED on the wizard painting! It was worth so much more =( But I guess you have all your new ones that should go for a lot now - they certainly deserve too.
Lol, I know man - I had like 20-some bidders "watching" it too - I was expecting it to get some last-minute bids on it, but of course there's that blackout and eBay was just dead all evening =P
How can you tell if people are watching an item? Thats a neat trick =)
Just click on the "Watchscript" info link =) It's neat!
Cool! Okay =) I'll have to try it out when I've got some time on my hands =)
Oh no, what did you wizard painting finish at? =\
Awe that sucks, i'm sorry jas. >_<
Hey, that's not bad really =) If that's the only effect I get from the blackouts I can't complain!
lol this is true. ;)
way to stay positive. ^^
Ow wow, I can't believe how FAST you are! Did you lose power then? Not me thankfully.
I really like the green eyed fae drake =) She looks a lot like you =)
Thank you =)
Nope! It doesn't look like it spread this far down the coast thank goodness!!! A lot of people sure have though - I've been watching the news, and it's awful!
It is awful! My parents went to New York city to visit my aunt and they called me saying that the metro they were on STOPPED mid tracks and everyone had to unload at the Emergency exit. Everyone thought it was another terrorist attack =\ I was worried SICK! Thankfully it is being fixed...
the nettle faery is perfect, her eyes are exactly how a little stinging faerys eyes should be. we have nettle "forests" around here, its awfull. i hate stinging nettle, i cant tell you how many times i have gotten stung by them:p
I love them all, but the colors on the stinging nettle fairy are especially striking!
wow..I was supriced on the amount of bids that you have..I guess most of your fans are from the blackout area!
All three are lovely!
You are very fast..three paintings in that short of a time!
Yeah, I have a lot of bidders who live in the Northeast - a lot of collectors in New York in particular. The page views/hits on eBay are way down too. Hopefully everybody will have their power on soon! I'm just glad it didn't get this far south!
loving them all!!! what do you paint your pieces on? do you seal them when your finished?? you sale them unframed right. i hope it's ok for asking.your camera is such fun to see you at work*giggle*
I paint on sheets of artist-primed cotton canvas - these here
to be specific =) I use Creamcoat paints, which are very vibrant and extremely durable (it even works for painting furniture and stuff) so I don't need to seal it, but if asked I'll coat it with a satin or gloss finish if people prefer =)
I sell all of my pieces unframed, but I purposely choose standard sizes for my artwork (like 8"x10", 11"x14", 12"x16", 16"x20") so they can be easily framed. Since they are flat sheets, they pop right into the ready-made pre-matted frames available at Target, Michael's, Hobby Lobby, etc. that you can get for $5-$25 (that's what I do even, hehe). Lots of my customers just get them custom framed as well.
In the next couple of years I'm going to set up a frame shop after we buy a house and I'll hire kaokame
(my husband Matt, who has had years of experience framing and managing frameshops) to work for me full-time so I can offer matted and framed paintings and prints on my website and on eBay. Or so goes the plan!
