A break.... [Aug. 7th, 2003|09:42 pm]
Jasmine Becket-Griffith
Matt's home early tonight, so instead of painting any more this evening I'll be drinking margaritas and watching Red Dragon (which I still haven't seen!!!).

I'll be back painting tomorrow though!

I have indeed! I just saw it a few weeks ago, it was good. I wish they would have shown him eating the painting though - that's my favourite part in the book!

Well now it's my turn to be all impressed! I only read Hannibal, and didn't like it all that well. I was even further disappointed by the movie - I think the filmmakers didn't *get* it.

I loved both Manhunter and Red Dragon - I think they both enhanced subtlties that the other one missed. I hope you enjoy it!

I heard Manhunter was more loosely based on Red Dragon than "Red Dragon" the film is. Which might be why they didn't have that in the movie.

Honestly..I loved 'Hannibal'. But..I'm..strange that way.

The movie or the book?

The book.

The movie had its own charm for me. But the book, hands down.

You're in for a treat! Red Dragon is awesome. I love it. We watch it nearly everyday. I love the intro scene.

Hello from Hannibal's biggest fan! Did you know that this is a remake for Red Dragon? It actually came out before Silence of the Lambs. Of course this new version is much better BUT still not as good as Silence... IMHO.

Who drank most of the margaritas?

I loved Red Dragon! Great movie, I always like Edward Norton, so that was a definite plus.

Hehe, I can drink Matt under the table ten times over. He'll be singing about goblins after one beer, lol! I'm the opposite. While I will imbibe freely, I've only been "drunk" a few times. In a way, it's actually kind of annoying....
