Okay, so can I join the bandwaggon? Is there room? =) I like the summoner too! =) The green light effect is way cool. Wow, this reminds me on that whole discussion we had about lighting and how it really makes people love a painting that much more to have interesting lighting... way to use it to it's full extent!! =)

The Summoner is incredible! Though I will say, if I hadn't noticed it was a "wizard" I would've thought he was female, since his facial features are..a bit soft. But I think you outdid yourself :)

Thank you! Hehe, maybe I've been painting girls for too long.... He's just spent too much time indoors maybe...

Wizard doesn't necessarily indicate male though, hehe...

While that's true, the automatic thought of most people is "male" =D

Well he is old, so maybe its that "everything goes south" syndrome ^_~;

JASMINE!!!! I'm in shock. Your mind is absolutely endless as is your imagination! Your soul truly shines through each piece you create. I NEED the moonlit faery. I think it is going to go WAY beyond my price range as usual, lol. Oh well, there are always prints =)

They are both wonderful. The Summoner particularly is sublime Jasmine-the lighting defining the old womans eyes and the hollow of her cheeks is highly accomplished, as is the fading green mist-Extraordinary work.Very impressive.

Summoner is absolutely incredible! Scott was really enthralled by it while we watched you paint it. He kept saying "Ask her to turn the painting toward the camera!" Funny thing, you actually turned it for a few seconds! You psychic ;)

For some reason, while I was looking at the moonlit faerie one I thought of something that might make a good painting. I pictured one of your faerie girls lounging on a crescent moon up in the sky, surrounded by stars (maybe constellations?). Just a thought! :)

That sounds like a beautiful painting! I'm surprised I haven't painted that yet, actually - it sounds like something I'd do, lol. I did a custom commission a while back with a woman sitting on a crescent moon, but it was more of a Wicca/Witchy thing rather than faery. I might have to paint this now.....you've planted a seed in my head...
