Absolutely horrible! I never heard of this incident before! Thank you for posting a link. Me and my family have signed and we're passing it to family, friends and co-workers. You always hear about how this nuts start with torturing animals before they kill people. I'm just wondering why the on-lookers weren't punished!!

It's completely disgusting, and it was a similar incident closer to home that made me start giving $ to the ASPCA and SPCA and having art auctions for their benifit. A group of 3 or 4 boys, 11-13 I think hung a kitten from a fence by its hind leg and threw stones at it until it severed the leg, mutilated the cat which eventually bled to death. It made me naucious and sick and depressed for DAYS hearing about it. I guess thats why I don't really watch the news anymore. But its true that people who have no empathy for animals have no empathy for others as well, and animal cruelty should be punished to the most severe extent of the law. I signed the petition, and with 13,000 signatures, we're really sending a message!
