|||||Feel So Numb by Rob Zombie||]|
I went through some more emails this morning, and now I'm painting! Watch me here: my webcam
Hehe - there are now a couple of alligators in our lake - we saw them both at the same time the other day, confirming it ;)
ZOOM! Hey I like that zoom view! It's looking great (of course) - I love their wings!!
Oh WOW! Jasmine that picture is absolutely incredible =) I've never seen the finished product on your webcam, its cool of you to show closeups of everything =) Hehe, you even waved!
I just love the concept behind this piece. It is something I'm sure MANY of us can relate to. It is definitely my new favorite!!! =)
Thank you Kayti!!! I'm going to scan it in now =)
*Looks around for missing painting and figures out she's scanning it*
The zoom view helped. It amazes me how fast you can paint, and then how much time you can spend glazing and repainting so many areas. I'll be interested to see the new painting in the non-webcam view, hehe. I'm sure it'll do fabulous on Ebay ~ I think a lot of people (and I am one of them) can relate to the concept of the piece. :)
Thanks! I don't think I could ever get bored painting, I'm the lucky sort of person who can stick to one thing solidly until it's done. I just scanned it in, and now I'm piece-ing it all together in Photoshop =P ugh.
I thought it would be a good concept for a picture, I thought about subtitling it "strangeling in high school" but I decided it would be too obvious ;)
How in the world do you ever know it's done? I've done pieces I've reworked and ruined beyond hope, so most of the time I just leave them really unrefined. I suppose it's just a thing you've got to feel out?
*Yawn* I wish my art sold for more so I could buy one of your originals. At this point it'd take me at least 10 paintings for one of yours. Ah well, it'll be worth it. Mostly I just wished I had bought that blue Nightshade fairy in the leaves you painted awhile ago...I think that was my favorite.
Rats! I missed all the painting lessons for today :( Oh well there's always tomorrow ;)
I see a blonde butterfly girlie! Not enough people paint blondes! I LOVE your butterfly wings! They are so pretty! :)
