sunkachina off at the airport =( I was sad to see her go, but I'll be back with her in KC in a little over two weeks, hehe. I swear - with the amount I'm still seeing my family, it hardly feels like I've moved at all... I just booked my flight to KC and back for the first week of August. We just dropped |
Matt just made the dining reservations for when mom is going to be here =)
I'm getting ready to hit the post office, and then it's painting time for me!
Oh I'm sorry =( But at least you get to see her again soon =) Plus you will have a blast with your Mom I'm sure!! You see your family more than I do and I live only four hours away, lol! How sad is that =P
Where are you going with mom? She didn't know when I asked her last night....said she wanted pancakes once, though :)
So far we've got breakfast at the Crystal Palace, a late lunch at Akershus, and we'll be eating at the Rainforest Cafe (Matt's, at Downtown Disney) on Tuesday. Anything else we'll just figure out once she gets here!
I think it's wonderful that you get to see your family so much :) If I ever had to move away from mine I'd hope that I would be able to do the same.
I was sad to see me go, too! At least I didn't miss my plane. It did leave at 9:20 or whatever that computer said. That made changing planes in Atlanta hard, though, I was like the second to last person they let on the the plane during the final boarding call. I barely made it!
p.s. Thanks for letting me stay at your home and for taking good care of me! You and Matt are the best hosts.
Hi Chichi!!!! I'm happy to hear that you made it home safely! I looked at the departure/arrival thing after you left, and it looked like the arrival was at 8:50am (rather than the departure, which was at like 9:20 or whatever). I'm glad you made it in time though - that was worrisome!
We've been moping around - it's always a big letdown when you leave, it's like "where's Chichi?" and we make sad faces =( Quan-Yin was meowing mournfully, but I'm not entirely sure if it was because she missed you or if it was because I gave her skim milk instead of cream...

Just dropped in to say hi!
Hello, I bumped into your work on ebay and then decided to check out your website. I love your stuff! I love the mesmerizing eyes of your little characters. Beautiful.
I am an artist also, though not full-time like you. I do it in my spare time and WISH I had the time to do more and live off it as you do. I am actually working on a website myself to sell prints of my work (also stationery and cutom projects for children's rooms), but I don't have enough finished to put up on the website, still working on new ones.
My drawings are of little children in different settings. I too am dissapointed at the world around me, so I indulge in the innocence that children have and portray and try to reflect that in my drawings.
Just wanted to share and also give you some thumbs up for your work!
