I'll share it with you!!! With that home I could literrally have every themed room I have ever imagined having. And still have rooms left to just be whatever. And the chapel! Could you imagine what you could do in a place like that? Why must the rich have all the fun?
ps-How do you feel about the fact that Celebration won't be Disney anymore?
Well, we're always going to be on Disney property here =)
Disney just set it all up to run for the first ten years. I'm thinking it might mean some good things, since there will be resident-elected officials, that sort of thing. Some things might be more "community oriented" rather than company/profit driven. Some of the "Market Street" shops might change - maybe they'll be more marketed towards residents rather than trying to attract potential home buyers (now that the land is all parceled out pretty much).
Hopefully when we're an "incorporated township" we'll start showing up on maps and my utility companies will figure out where I am, lol!
LOL. I have always thought that what Celebration needed most was stores that people who lived there would want to shop in. Maybe clothing stores with EVERYDAY clothes? A hair and nail place? An old fashioned drug store? A more practical gorcery store?
I'm excited about the new Celebration shopping area ("The Water Tower Place") they're building at right when you turn onto Celebration Ave off of 192. It's technically not on Celebration property somehow (but it's after you start seeing the white picket fence thingies), but it's basically aimed at providing the residents with things not currently available. There's going to be a full-scale Gooding's grocery store, video rental, discount salon, a couple of fast-food type places (I think Blimpie's and Chick-Fil-A) and I think a drugstore or a hardware store or something. It'll be done this fall - I can't wait, hehe.
HEAVENLY!!! Don't worry, you'll be even richer than Anne one of these days ;)
Wow! I wouldn't know what to do with that much house! It sure is beautiful though :)
If we got that place I would have the fanciest pirate room ever! I would be so happy. We could play a serious game of hide and seek!
6.5 for all that? Compared to California prices that's cheap - you Griffiths ought to grab it!!!
I know - it's really not that bad $138/sq. foot - fully furnished, historical landmark, prime location, etc. I've seen houses back in KC go for that much that weren't any where near as impressive!
Wow..yeah, that's huge! The dolls are kinda creepy, though...
I was really confused at first - I was listening to Soul to Squeeze (red hot chili peppers, of course) and then the Ava Maria off the website was playing too..sounded REALLY odd.
Hehe = the doll rooms have been cleared out (since it's Anne's personal collection) and have been made into parlours or something.
I was listening to a bunch of MP3s the whole time I was on the site also - it was freaky to hear them on top of her music!
Hey though, how much fun would it be to have your own chapel, lol?
i was looking at that chapel thinking, man you could have a kick ass party in there!
Okay, the price is dirt cheap for what youre getting... the dolls are really creapy. Anne Rice needs help +) But if it was mine, I would auction off all the christian relics and statues and symbolism and probably profit enough to pay 1/4 of the mortgage right there. I would just have to get rid of all that stuff. And turn the chapel either into a more pagan/nature type spiritual/meditation room, or just a flat out party room =) I would keep all the beautiful stained glass windows and such, but the jesus statues and million crosses gotta go. Move that grand piano right to the center, get rid of all the chairs, and voila! Instant ball room =)
You know, this is only more motivation (that I didn't need) to keep working on that book of mine. Between the Harry Potter fortune, and Anne Rice, there is just way too much money in fiction! I can't believe it! =P Where are the artists with 20 million worth of real estate?
