|Painting, Kachina's gone, Amber's on LiveJournal!

I had a busy day today. We dropped Kachina off at the airport early this morning =( We were very sad to see her go home - we had such an unbelievably nice time with her staying here with us. Chichi is always so much fun to be around. We were just kind of depressed after she left =( She just called me from Kansas City though - her flight home was good, and all is well. We're going to see her in about two weeks, so we'll try not to miss her too much!
Then, I went to the Post Office and mailed about 15 pieces of art (whew!). Matt and I had vegetarian-chicken potpies for lunch =) Matt's at work now - he's going to work the next several days straight, since he didn't really work much the past few weeks while we were visiting and being visited.
Good news! My other little sister Amber just got a LiveJournal!!! She is called kenderdrache! Amber is one of the coolest people I know, and I'm very excited to see her on LJ. She recently got married, moved into her new apartment, graduated with her Psychology degree, and earned her blackbelt in karate! This is an incredibly exciting year for her, and I'm very much looking forward to reading about her adventures =)
The plan for tonight is PAINTING! My webcam will be pointed at my table while I work - CLICK HERE to watch me. I'll be working on a burnt-sienna-ish painting of a wood nymphish creature with antlers! I might also start a new underwater mermaidish piece (something about a shipwreck, with pirate-y overtones), or maybe an Art Nouveau piece. Sometime soon I might do a Lavendar Faerie (wink, wink, Wendy!). In other words, I've got a million things I want to paint, in no particular order. I'm also thinking about starting my long awaited Zodiac series. And working in Director to create a new interactive flash part for my website with some fun fairy games and maybe an incarnation of the fortune-telling game I did for my senior programming project in college (which I'll pretty much have to start over from scratch, but I still have a lot of code saved somewhere on one of my hard drives.....), but I'm going to wait until I get some serious painting done first ;)
