foxmagic! We went and saw Matrix:Reloaded, which was a lot of fun. I liked the movie, not as well as the first, but there were a few problems with it (a lot of time was spent showing off cinematography rather than progressing the storyline, and I think Neo & Trinity seemed to be making out an awful lot, lol). Then we went to Brian's house! He has a lovely home, filled with cool stuff - puppets, Legos, trains, movies, video games, Disney stuff, books, autographed Douglas Adams memorabilia, and the largest collection of Mac computers and peripherals that I have ever seen!Matt and I had an awesome time today hanging out with our new friend |
We played a great game on the Dreamcast called "Samba de Amigo" which is bizarre and incredibly fun - the object of the game is to keep a strange monkey happy by shaking the maracas in the right direction the right number of times to the beat of different songs - similar in a way to Dance Dance Revolution (very Japanese too). The game controllers are actual maracas with sensors on them - pretty cool! We also watched some great Atari commercials and emulators, and he also introduced us to the wonders of Tivo (I really want one now!). We watched a little bit of Enterprise (which, being a pretty well defined TNG fan I was previously skeptical) and it actually looked pretty cool - I might give it a shot after all.
All in all, we had a great time - we're going to hang out again on Saturday =)
Now I've got to tackle some of this mountain of email...
