Wow- [May. 18th, 2003|11:59 am]
Jasmine Becket-Griffith
We took a break and went over to the Celebration Farmer's Market and bought a ton of produce - fruits, veggies, things to make guacamole, etc.

We again walked by the hot dog stand (which I never batted an eye at) and I noticed little photos of pigs and chickens on some pamphlets and I thought, "Hmmm... that's not usually something they'd use to advertise hot dogs" and I looked closer. They were all vegan hot dogs! Not only that, but they had vegan chili, onions, olives, sauerkraut, cheese, and lots of other toppings! We each got one (only $2 each) and loaded them up with all the toppings we wanted - it was really cool. We went and ate them by the lake - it was awesome =) There was an article posted on the stand that talked about how the Orlando area was the eighth most vegetarian-friendly city in the country - I can definitely tell!

Back to painting... (Matt: back to assembling our entertainment system)...

They were really good and the vendor was a nice guy. He laughed at us when I looked into the ice chest near his feet and I said "Look they've got pop too". He chuckled and said "That's a good western word".

Apparently "pop" is a silly word that one in the west would use to mean "soda". Soda sounds so boring. ::Sigh::

Anyway it was Welch's grape!!!
